Does anyone recall a story about wisdom tooth removal in fiction?

No, but I have an experience I wish was fiction.

Mine involves being wide awake on little novocaine while a frustrated Pakistani dentist furiously pries two from my skull, even slamming his tools down on my chest when he couldn't seem to get the last one out.

My experience for the final one was very similar to yours.

I still have mine because I'm afraid of having them removed.

Wisdom teeth extraction wasn't even bad for me tbh. I had all 4 plucked at once and was eating steak by day 3.
