Poll School or College years which is more fun and enjoyable ? (96 votes)
anyone ?
anyone ?
@supermanthor: In that case, eh, idk. I just started my first semester of college like 2 months ago just to learn weeks later my financial aid ain't even get put through. On top of me not taking my entire first month of college seriously, doing 0 homework. Not buying the books I needed. Financially, college is a pain in the ass.
But with that aside, I had fun chilling with the friends I made there and having fun in-class discussions with everyone. I like the freedom as well, but that freedom is kind of my downfall since I procrastinate and hate doing any kind of school work when I'm not in school. But I just gotta adjust and I'll be fine.
But since it's my first semester, obviously I'm gonna toss it up to High School since I have waay more fun memories there. Idk how college will go.
@batmanplusjay: oh i see
One thing you'll hear a lot in high school (especially senior year) is "These are the best 4 years of your life."
However, I promise you that almost everyone who says that falls into one of three categories.
Seriously, anyone whose life peaked in high school must live a terrible life. I'd almost feel bad for them, but 99 times out of 100, they did it to themselves by choosing to spend high school more focused on football then on their future.
@mrmonster: One of my friends my senior year said the realest shit to me.
We were joking outside the gym and he said "A lot of the kids out here will grow up and high school will be the peak of their life."
I laughed but that really had me thinking like "damn, and he probably right too".
This could definitely depend on the circumstances; I had the benefit of school and attending college in 2 different locations; due to the different locations, college was very enjoyable for me in the first situation but miserable in the second location; although I was fired up for college heading into the first location but burned out heading into the second location, I don't think it would have made that much of difference had I been fired up heading into the second location; it all depends on the environment of the school, from my experience; one thing about the environment that I can note, as a basis for speculation, is that the first college location was a "regular" college, while the second was a nah ivy league location; in the first location, everyone was humble and happy to be attending college while in the second location, everyone felt entitled to be in college and were generally stiff necked and arrogant; thus, since everyone was humble and full of humility in the first location, everyone respected one another and treated each other with respect; this would include making sure everyone felt welcomed and fit in, to the extent that a group of people can reasonable be expected to treat a particular individual in said group; but, having some years as an adult now and understanding life a lot better, that first location is working out to seem something of an anomaly; but, I'm truly glad that I had that experience and it's one of a few cherished events of my life and I really enjoyed it, I'll never forget it, and is apart of who I am, truly (e.g. and this, sadly, even include the churches that I've attended, particularly my current church and the one just before that); high school was a distant second, but enjoyable, particularly in the latter 2 years; childhood, between 7 and 12 was a close second; and the first days into my first 2 years starting my career is about a tie with this experience; the second college location is consistent with what I experienced in the situations other than these experiences including currently, where everywhere you go, everyone seems to leaving you feeling that you just don't belong; thus, I've adapted and I've become pretty stoic; my concern, though, is that I may have to be this way for so long that I may lose a sense of what it's like to experience or express tenderness to other people.
@dshipp17: May God have mercy on the soul of the man who reads that entire post
College in every possible way. In college, you are treated like a person. In high school, you are treated like student #1545.
@batmanplusjay: Your friend is very wise, and very truthful.
College.
College by far.
You mean high school?? College is still school am I right?
Obviously college but neither is fun really. I'm not one of those people who want to study useless facts. If only I could decide myself. I want to make my own business so I can make money without going to college.
Ofc, I would self study on how to manage a business because knowledge is important but finishing school is only worth it if you want to become a nurse, lawyer or any job that requires a degree. Other than that, you can make a lot of money just by making a business, starting a Youtube career, be a celebrity or something else that doesn't require a college degree.
I'm assuming you mean High School or College? High school for me was far more enjoyable and memorable, although I haven't attended a university yet and my college is currently in hiatus. So who knows? It might change when I complete my college degree.
Never been to college, I'm still in 10th grade after all.
I'm sure College is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy better than High though
High School was wayyyy better than college.
When I skipped high school there was a river in my town where I could spend the day fishing, swimming, boating etc.
When I skipped Uni there was no river in the city.
Never been to college, I'm still in 10th grade after all.
I'm sure College is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy better than High though
you're joking........right?
@ultimatesage: I’m in 11th grade now.
@faradaysloth: Dang, that's crazy lmao, I always pictured you as an 20+ something dude🤔
High school was hell on earth tbh
College it’s been pretty meh now.with some good and bad moments.at least for now
I choose the college for sure!) It was the start of my best years, first of all, I met my true friends here, have a lot of fun, realized what I want and expect from life. Also at college, I have written the most important paper, after which I decided to make researches, thanks for the https://studydriver.com/holocaust/ project, where I found so much useful information. Especially for their holocaust essay examples, it moved me toward fast. So, yes, my choice is totally college)
