I'm sad Sun, Emerald, and Mercury haven't gotten a new look like everyone else. But in Sun and Merc's case, I'm happy at the same time.

Tyrian is such an f***** beast.

It's hard seeing team RWBY so shattered.

I'm still trying to process on how Yang beats Tifa.

@paragonnate: Probably the weakest volume so far in terms of story and plot direction. It just seemed like an entire filler arc, we could have skipped most of it and not lost anything significant. Plus most of the fights weren't much good outside of Qrow vs Tyrion and the finale fight. The art style and Yang's arc was pretty good but there's a lot needed to be said about Volume 4.

This. It was good filler but still filler. It had good tibets all around but surprisingly this volume could of done alot better with twice the episodes.

Kinda sad they decided just to throw in Ren and Nora's story just to get it out of the way.

Also felt the time Skip didn't lend it self to the new designs. like Bleach I'm not fond of timeskips that aren't even a Year. It's like they went through 3 years worth of puberty.

I only started from Volume 3 but Volume 4 had to be the most filler season I've ever watched. I didn't even know that was possible.

Yeah both of these. I still liked it.

Hope there is more meat next volume.

How about that Weiss trailer?

I don't really like Weiss but the character short was cool admittedly.

The Weiss trailer was better IMO. Wondering if we will get a Yang trailer. I'm guessing there wont be a Ruby one since we had one last year.

What if Ozpin's team name is OLIV (Olive) O for Ozpin, L for Leo, I for Ironwood, and V for ??

Maybe my memory is worst than I thought but I don't remember any rwby character named leo.

At first I thought Haven's Headmaster Lionheart is a sellout to Salem. Now after seing the trailer I am kinda hoping that he isn't and still fighting against Salem.

I am a much better fighter than Yang. Hold my Crescent Ro.... oh wait.

Probably.In one of the world of remnant videos it has been said that older grimm are more powerful than younger ones so it makes sense that not all grimm are equal.

Yeah, it was explicitly stated that Grimm get stronger as they age and learn. It's why there are stronger Beowolves with more bone....bits? protrusions? in Volume 3 called a Beowulf Alpha. They're the older and tougher Beowolves. Also, I think that Ursa has more bone than the regular Ursa, making it a Beowulf Alpha equivalent.....an Ursa Major maybe?

@jashro44: Oh no that was a bigger and more powerful Ursa. I believe it is the Ursa major.

@paragonnate: I liked it.Looks like this volume will probably be better than the last in terms of quality.

@watcher5000: Yeah, the building up from last volume looks like it's going to pay off. Also drunk Qrow is best

@paragonnate: It was OK. I didn't think we learned anything really new other than confirmation Qrow and Raven are equals and that Raven has the spring Maiden (can't remember if that was mentioned). I like the new city.

Yeah hope this season's better than the last but it looks good so far. Looking forward to the Mercury vs Yang Rematch if thats what the opening was hinting at.

Hopefully we'll see more of Mercury and Emerald anyway.

Just saw episode 2, spoiler alert! Adam is still a dick.

Volume 5 is looking better than Volume 4 so far in so much as the plot is moving along at a suitable pace for once.

I thought the first episode this volume was really good. The second episodes even better imo. Just gotta wait.
