RIP Monty Oum

Rooster Teeth released a video and journal post announcing the tragic news of Monty Oum's passing at 33 years young. He suffered a severe allergic reaction leaving him in a coma and eventually leading to his passing. For those who aren't aware of him, Monty was a web animator responsible for making the Dead Fantasy fan series as well as animating for Rooster Teeth's Red vs Blue and RWBY shows. He's served as an inspiration for fans with his creative genius, talent and passionate work ethic. Here's the video and link to the journal announcing his passing:

This man was fantastic and admirably ambitious. I absolutely loved Red vs Blue too.

Rest in peace man. You'll be missed.

I loved his works and it's sad to see him go this young. RIP

When I heard the news over at Giantbomb. I was very sad to hear that a talented man has passed.

I was not a fan of RT but I hate to see people lose love ones.

Can't say I have ever heard of him but this is indeed very tragic, especially at such a young age. R.I.P

I started to pursue a career in animation for several reasons. He was one of them. He'll truly be missed.

Incredibly sad to hear this news, way too young, he inspired so many people with his creative enthusiasm and dedication to his art. RIP. Hope his loved ones are okay and his fans remember him for a long time, and also new people get to experience his work for the first time too.
