Figured this was going to happen honestly. What sealed the deal for me was when he didn't shake dude's hand which is the ultimate sign of disrespect.

Kinda figured that would happen. He's close to 40, had no real MMA experience and has been pushing back this fight for a while. Even when he was wrestling, he was prone to injury and was never the most athletic guys out there (though he did try).

The question is: What will he do now?

He burned his WWE bridge to the ground and seems to have disdain for professional wrestling now. After this loss, will he continue to make a go at a MMA career?

It's what I expected. I kinda feel bad for him, but I don't at the same time and and I know I shouldn't pity him. This whole thing was for the money. I bet he got at least a couple million for that multi-fight deal. Too bad it probably hurts Dana and the UFC more. The what if question has been spoiled. Some fans and people will give him one more shot at redemption and it might bring a couple extra ppv buys next time. But after that CM Punk will be irrelevant and a complete joke in the UFC. His appeal will be completely gone after his next match, even if he does win. I wonder how many fights that deal had. I'm thinking at least three. Oh well at least he made some money.

Punk wasn't trying to build a career as an MMA fighter. He did this to fulfill a fantasy and get a payday or two. As of right now he's probably going to get cut from the UFC, which is a good thing. That way if he's still interested in fighting he can fight in the proper setting for someone of his experience level.

RIP is an overdramatic title used to attract views, plus he got starched so it's fitting to some extent. And spare me the explanation. I watch just about every card the UFC puts on as well as events put on by other orgs. I'm well aware of what took place leading up to and during the fight.

You see this is relative. He's good in comparison to Punk and he may very well turn out to be a promising prospect, but as of right now Gall is untested. He has 3 fights on his record. One being to a retired journalist to set up the Punk fight and another being against a nearly 40 year old fake wrestler... Punk himself. Sure he's undefeated, but that's mostly a buzzword used to hype him up by the UFC.
