@princeleif: I honestly disagree with you, although I love both the original and UBW I prefer the UBW soundtrack as I feel like it brings out the emotion within the scene and "imo" feel like it's composed better than the 2006 version. Again both are amazing Though zero stands as the number one pick for me.
@chronicplane: For me the old FSN OST was much more rich, while the UBW version feels a lot more techno, and hollow compared to the other one. A good example of this would be the original Emiya vs the new Emiya track, the original just feels more vibrant and full, where the new one feels like an unnecessary techno edit. Regardless I still like both OSTs, but the original I feel is still better.
-Cliché protagonists running together and then standing watching the sunset.
-The singer has a good voice but the music is too generic.
-I feel like the music can be attributed to any anime.I feel like they paid a japanese pop group to take one of their musics and place it in their anime What i mean is you don't feel like the music belongs to the anime. For example, in dragon ball you can easily say that it belongs to it by it's lyrics "DURAGON BOORU SUUPAA Zen'ou-sama mo ottamage !!" "Tsukamou ze ! DRAGON BAL Sekai de ittou suriru na himitsu Sagasou ze ! DRAGON BAL" ...Etc
