Question: Would you let me amputate one of your legs for $975 million?

Harold Hamm's ex turned down a settlement for the same amount. So I've been having a bit of stupid fun with this question over the past few days--seeing what I could get people to do for such an amount of money. A surprising amount were willing to eat a bowl of random toe nails, a near equal amount was willing to eat human. So I ask you, would you allow me to amputate your leg for $975 million?

It's very tempting, but I don't think I would.

If I am drugged during the removal, sure. I'm pretty sure I can get a prosthetic with that much. Or at least a wheelchair.

I mean, if we have the technology that can make a pretty good leg, I'd let you do it and I'd pay someone else to make me another one.

I'm doing the amputation. You're welcome to borrow some money from me before the operation to pay for a surgical team, but as of now, I am taking a hacksaw to your leg.

How much of the leg? I know some pretty good prosthetics if the cut is below the knee.

I like my body the way it is.

I'm young, full of energy, and tend to do impulsive things.

Not being able to jump anymore would suck. I probably wouldn't be able to fulfill my dream of skydiving either.

For 975 million? You can have em both. Though I would prefer it be done by somebody that actually knows how to do it, I would also probably pay to be knocked out first though, I am not trying to be conscious during that procedure.

Maybe if I could get a cool replacement limb like in I, Robot or something, but even then probably not. I like my legs.
