I know both of you consider yourselves centrists or something like that. I'm curious what you would choose in a hypothetical situation.

If the USA decided to split among right and left politics which side would you choose to live on? To give you an out I guess you could move to another country. If you picked that option which country?

As I have seen far to many examples of what happens when you have a disparity of force.

In my opinion, the ability to vote is a priviledge exclusive to a citizen similar to the opportunity to hold public office.

Hence why I agree that voters need to certify their eligibility to such priviledge, when the necessity requires so (eg: in protection of the integrity of the election or if it is an issue of national security).

Voting is a responsibility to the State and is a "right" afforded only to citizens (civil rights),

as recognize by the State which has zero jurisdiction over individuals who are not their citizens.
