Man, this is pretty disappointing from last year considering AoT, Assassination Classroom, 7 Deadly Sins, an even Kingdom were hot on OP's tail but now they got left in the dust. Though it's worth mentioning that all of them are about 2 million less the last year.

Still better then 2014 but not as good as 2013.

@poeticwarrior: Yea, it ended this August but it's yearly sales use to be a lot of better. You would also expect its final volume to sell like crazy, but from what I remember it got little over 290,000.

Though it's sales have stayed pretty stable, in the mid to high 2 millions, Bleach's number has been on a drop since 2012.

What's probably more amazing imo is Assassination Classroom being straight up cancelled despite pretty much coming 1st (One Piece shouldn't even be in the running at this point. 2nd is the new 1st).

Yeah, O.P. I've never read or seen the Kingdom series. Is it any good? I am familiar with everything else in the Top-25.

Not exactly surprising, One Piece has a huge fan base while to my knowledge some of these Mangas are still relatively new. Give it some time and i reckon Nanatsu no Taizai will be steamrolling One Piece.

You sure about that? One Punch Man went from a poorly designed web comic to 7.2 million hits within 3 years. What's to say the same won't happen to SDS?

In-fact it has happened to Seven Deadly Sins, it started in 2012 and it's already 6th on this list? Give it approximately 3 years and i honestly believe it will be in the top three maybe even first.

Admit it, One Piece's throne is being challenged by some seriously powered contenders.

One Piece has had 19 years to build it's fan base. SDS & OPM have been running for 3 years and already they're 6th & 9th on this list.

One Piece simply has a great formula for gaining a big fanbase/sales.

So the time-frame is set to when One Piece's sales will be at their highest due to it's ending? Old & New fans even non-readers will want to read the end. Also it's highly doubtful that One Piece will end in 5 years, considering it One Piece almost 19 years to reach half-way.

What's more interesting to me is that Toriko isn't even in top 30 in manga sales. I thought it was a lot more popular.

I hardly believe that seasonal anime could compete with long-running anime. The hype for OPM and Attack on Titan went down, as most of the fans aren't manga readers.

And you really wanna make a bet? In 50 chapters, One Piece only had 1 major fight this year and sold almost the double than the second place, and it was confirmed that next year we will be going to Wano.

Wano is one of the most hyped arcs in the history of OP, we will have the strawhats reunion, Kaidou, 3 calamities, Kidd, Drake, Apoo, possibly Zoro's backstory, Zoro going all out, Luffy new power up, Luffy vs Kaido 1vs1, maybe even Big Mom if she is not defeated this arc, the Shogun and others samurais on Wano, origin of Poneglyphs, more Gol D Roger backstory and Void Century stuff, the minks and possibly Marco too.

So One Piece is not slowing down, and don't forget the last war that will make Marineford like child's play, Goda's words.
