1 being not bad at all 100 being the absolute wrost president in history.
i dont hat obama but i think we can all agree that the only reason people hold him in such high regard is his skin color and thats not only extreamly stupid but also racist.
I'll say 25. For introducing fines for not having health care, terrible law and unconstitutional. I don't think people praise the guy as president because he was black. They praise him for being a black guy that became president which is an accomplishment unless you believe some conspiracy shit.
Plus he's funny when used in social commentary(meme usage... placed in video games and cartoons? Eh you get the point), more so than any other president imo
Not bad at all. If anything he was actually a pretty good president. Also put this in Off Topic.
By the way, you clearly know nothing about Obama nor do you know why people actually liked him. Saying people only liked him because he was black is not only untrue but also ignorant.

DO NOT WANT! Why should I be fined just cause I don't got healthcare? ;_; I'm already taking a hit by not having it, so why should I get fined for it too?
He's a good talker, but also a bit of a coward. He did take care of bin Laden though.
He gets 55.
EDIT: oh, 100 is the worst, ok fine. 45.
@wolfrazer: yeah not gonna lie, that was terrible. I was either locked up or in school for most of the time the act was in place, so I naturally slid around the fact, but I was stressing for a bit. I'm pretty sure Trump took care of it for as much as people dislike the guy, but if I ever would've got fined for that bs I would've took it to court... it is actually against the constitution. We're not supposed to be forced or punished to take or utilize a service if we don't want. Thats like forcing us to own a car or take the bus, like wtf.
But besides that he wasn't half bad, and I'm pretty sure he brought back a few of our troops, so good on him.
Although I disagree with Obama on several issues dude was likable and respectable. I'd probably give him a range of 40-60. imo he is the best president since Reagan (excluding Trump of course, you can't rate a current President)
Obama was a terrible President. Because of him, the racial division was created, and so were the SJW and PC communities. Not only that, but he created the list of banned countries from entering the US, yet Trump is getting unwarranted hate for enforcing the ban. Not to mention that Obama was backing a proven mentally disabled Clinton, the very being that would have caused America to be thrown into WW3 with Russia. As nfactor1995 stated, 90 minimum.
@jexsu: racial division has always been there. In what era of America wasn't there a racial division?
That's true, it has always been there. However, in my 32 years of experience, it had never been so horrible as it had been within the last 18 years (counting my high school days up until now).
@jexsu: Hm. The black community is getting more aggressive and outspoken as of late, the white community hasn't really changed much however, if anything i feel like some of the black movements nowadays are more acceptive of whites compared to things like black Panthers.
You were kinda born around some of the best times, right after rioting and what not. And Honestly I feel it depends on which angle you're viewing it from, my mother, a white woman, is around your age... a tiny bit older. When she was living next to a historical black school her white coworkers were shocked and worried about her placement there. I'd say that there was more unnecessary fear a dozen years ago, but yeah maybe the racial division has gotten a bit angrier as of late.
I wouldn't pit this on Obama though, the guy is mixed, lol.

- Health care reform was an amazing shot. the entire world takes care of their people, only the americans should sell their kidneys in order to treat sore throat. As a citizen of a country with very well established health insurance i gotta say this - if some serious sh*t happens, you gotta go private and pay, no one denies that. It's crowdy, dirty at places, but for the most usual problems you are going to face anyway, you feel safety - you've got a GP provided anytime anywhere, he can send you to specialists for almost free, for the not so much complicated diseases, wounds and injuries you will be taken care of. Not that is perfect, I'm far from this conclusion, but it was the right way. the american way in Health is sort of medieval, everybody seeks the solution himself. this ain't civilized at all and gotta give Obama credit for acknowledging it. - so for the attempt(a very good one) and the execution(not so good) summarized - 20-25.
- ceasefire is always a good thing and I don't really care what some proud republican would oppose. But the way he handled Russia and China but wasn't impressive - so he gets 45-50.
- one or even two mandates is not enough to cause an economic crisis. You gotta go back decades to localize the foundations of the future problem. So Obama should not be held responsible for what happened from economic perspective. What he should be held responsible for is the way he dealt with it. Not amazing again, but it was pretty decent one especially compared to the late 20s and early 30s and 2007-2008. - 25,30.
- he really provoked the racial division, I couldnt agree more. the situation had just cooled off before him, no one was talking about this sh*t and look what he turned the world into nowadays - a political "correctness" has taken over everything - you can't speak because you can be sued, you can't joke, you have to think before every single word comes out of your mouth because somebody could get insulted. And he is the main reason for this "phenomenon" which is extremely annoying in the time of the social media - 80-90 at least.
- he was respectable indeed. And that's always a good quality for a person like this. He knows how to behave, to speak, to play the media. 10-15.
So with the Foreign and domestic policy, Health care system, the racial division and correctness and his verbal and nonverbal ways communication taken into consideration, i gotta give him between 35 and 45. this is an outsider's point of view, remember that before hurl upon me. ;D

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Around here, I'm lucky that there isn't much of that racial division going on. Black Lives Matter, and I'd hope you agree, is one of the worse organizations in recent years, and does not promote anything other than hatred toward white people (which I am); I'd even add that they are as worse as the Black Panthers, whom I'd equate to the KKK in some ways. The PC and SJW crowd is just as bad and, I'm partial to this, as verbally evil as BLM. I would put this on Obama, simply because of what he has said and done in the past during his presidency, and the fact that it has gotten so far out of hand, off the radar, and through the roof.
@jexsu: it's more the fact people don't know what blm is about. So because of the ignorance surrounding people think it's about black lives mattering more or something. It's just about cops killing blacks unnecessarily. I think when understood it creates an even more significant division than one of racial standards. It creates a division between the police and the people. If we can't trust the people meant to protect and serve us, who can we trust? However when understood, it brings white people in... as nowadays nobody likes the cops it seems
I personally am not a fan of movements in general, if you want something changed, become a politician is what I say.
However again, Obama was essentially just saying "hey... I'm sorry law enforcement and pseudo law enforcement keeps killing black people and getting away with it" it wasn't his fault that racial division is still around.
And again I don't think it's too bad, im my white friends daughters unofficial godparent... she's not getting christened anytime soon either. And all my friends are mixed, so we're fine as far as racial division goes imo.
Again if anything it's the division between the government/law and the people that's really getting out of hand. We're gonna have another revolt soon... It's cool, it's meant to happen, and the fact it's gonna happen signifies our freedom... It's just gonna be a shitty time.
@whyzoserious: idk where you are from but the racial divide has always been here its not new its getting filmed and media attention thats all.
@jexsu: you sound really ignorant when you equal the KKK to the black panthers or blm.
Not an American, but I say 95. Just like the war dog presidents before him, more than 50% of USA's budget was used for war. He supported Israel and Saudi Arabia. You can't become a bigger piece of trash than what you already are when you fund and support terrorists and apartheid.
People really over exaggerate how bad of a president he was. He was average IMO. He did some good and he did some bad.
Also this is the first time I’ve talked about Politics in 2 years Due to the fact I’ve lost all faith in it. Can you please move this from Gen. Discussions to Off Topic. Even then there is a Politics thread.
@kanyecosby: i said people hold him in such a high regard because he's the first black president, not people like him because he's black.
@wilkins17: I so don't want to get into this debate right now.
But the short list is, Trump is separating ourselves from the rest of the world. Breeding off hate. And personally I think the man is just unqualified for the job!
I don’t care what anyone says: the real people to blame with today’s racial division are three groups: Black Lives Matter (?), The Media, and The Democratic Party. All three of them together too.
It still shocks me how since Charlottesville, everyone is believing that a bunch of idiotic white nationalists caused everything that’s wrong with Racial Division today.
60? I'd say he was the most disappointing president in recent times in the sense that he looked different acted different and spoke different than all presidents before him. There was such a huge hype train for all these changes that were gonna be so great and then when he got in it was 8 years of literally the same globalist crap as usual.
@jexsu: you sound really ignorant when you equal the KKK to the black panthers or blm.
Thank you. I guess my opinion, which is based on my experience, means I'm totally ignorant.
@wilkins17: That’s still not true though. He had major accomplishments in his presidency. Just recently, C-Span conducted a presidential survey with almost 100 historians and biographers and Obama was ranked as the 12th best president. He’s not just highly regarded by most of the public, but he’s highly regarded even by presidential historians.
Pretty terrible with his foreign policy. To his introduction and increased usage of hated drones, to making no progress with the Israel/Palestine conflict (at times making it worse)
Better than Bush, but that's not saying much at all. People hold him in high regard because he was frankly a breath of fresh air after the 8 years of embarrassment that we got from Bush's tenure.
