There is the odd early comer though... I hit puberty when was 10 and I had a friend hit it when she was 9-ish.

I can't begin to imagine a girl having children at 8 yrs old. That's astronomical.

Back in my high school, girls got sure leave all the time. The teachers and system would basically not ask questions officially, and it was all done very official-like. Of course, every, like, third girl was pregnant. It was crazy, yo!

I don't remember any of the girls at my school getting pregnant. I remember a guy leaving because he got someone else pregnant though.

Why did he leave? To raise the kid, or out of shame?

I'm not sure, I didn't really know him that well.

I left in 1995 at 16.

It seems like these days you can't leave school until you've had a baby. But Britain does have the highest rate of teen pregnancies in the western world.
