Hello, I am happy to welcome you to Mafia: Overrated Game Character edition.
The run down:
There are three role categories, each with a different win condition:
- Heroes - Wants all villains dead
- Villains - Wants all Heroes dead
- Thirds - Special win requirement (it will say what under each third)
All players are anonymous with the exception of the Villains who have a PM together, in the PM they can formulate attacks and make use of the nightly kill (the nightly kill is an additional power letting the villains attack one player each night).
At night each player (with the exception of one or two) can use their respective actives to do something to another player.
In the day I will write up the nights occurrences, and leave you to vote for who you would like to lynch (assuming you would like to lynch anyone)
To lynch someone all you need to do is state who you would like to lynch in bold letters. If a majority is reached that person will be lynched and removed from the game (they can come back).
If you sign up, you must play. If you don't post in the main thread or PM you will be removed (and likely won't be allowed in my next game).
If you die, you are not allowed to talk gameplay in the main thread.
No posting screenshots from the PMs proving your role (or others roles).
No purposefully betraying your team/teammates.
If someone breaks the rules, please tell in our PM. You could be rewarded......or good Karma, mainly good Karma.
1st Active: Power beam/Charged beam
Samus can use her active to stun one player every night, or she can charge one night and kill on the second.
1st Passive: Power suit
It takes one hit to destroy her suit; when her suit is destroyed she loses her original passive/active.
2nd Active: Paralyzer
Samus can use her Paralyzer to stun one player each night.
Active: Worlds greatest detective
Batman can follow one player each night and learn their identity.
Passive: Worlds greatest secret
If Batman is ever investigated the player can fool the investigator with another identity.
Active: Bad time
If Sans is the last hero remaining he can decide to halt the game stopping everyone from winning (some thirds can still win).
Passive: Not your turn
sans can't be attacked on his turn (night)
Active: Cappy possession
Mario can control one characters actions each night.
Passive: Too damned famous
If someone discovers who Mario is, everyone will know.
Passive: BS luck
All abilities used on Nathan have a one in three chance of failing (including lynch).
Passive: Devilish rogue
For reasons that baffle even I, Nathan is very persuasive, and his vote means a lot (+1 vote)
Cloud can use Omnislash once every three nights (starting night three) killing his target.
Active: Pheonix down
Cloud can revive one player every other night.
Kirby can use its inhale ability to eat one character (doesn't work on any of the Undertale character).
1st Passive: You are what you eat
Kirby will lose its Active (and 1st passive) ability after eating a character, and will gain said character actives/passive
2nd Passive: Fast metabolism
Despite eating an entire player, he will digest them in three nights, after three nights he will lose those passive/active abilities, and regain his original ones.
1st Active: killing humans
Geralt can kill any human character each night with his steel sword.
2nd active: killing monsters
Geralt can kill any non human he chooses with his silver sword.
Active: Gotta go fast
Sonic can switch any two player places of his choosing
Passive: You're too sloooooow!
Sonic always gets the first move.
Active: Spartan Laser
Chief can attack one player of his choosing with his Spartan laser (one night cool down).
If attacked, his shields will take the blow, but deactivate; his shields take three nights to recharge.
Active: Mehunes' razer.
Dovakiin can stun a player each night with Mehrunes' razer; mehrunes' razer also has a one in 5 chance of killing its target.
Passive: Fus Ro Dah
Whoever kills the Dova will also meet their end, as will anyone who interacts with him on that night (unless they have a passive/shield/armour).
Active: Just Monika
Monika can make all players target her at night.
Passive: I think i'll just delete them
If Monika is the nightly killer she will delete the player she chooses rather than just attack/kill them (only the undertale characters can avoid this).
Active: KILL OR BE KILLED!!!
Flowey can kill every other night.
Passive: Not your turn
Flowey can't be killed on his turn (night).
Passive: Diplomatic immunity
Ganondorf can't be lynched.
Passive: This isnt even my final form, oh wait......
If Ganondorf is killed he will transform into Ganon on the following night, he will also lose his previous passives.
Active: Might is right
Ganon can kill one player every night.
Passive: Your puny weapons can't harm me!
Ganon can't be killed at night, except for one exceptions (wink wink nudge nudge).
Active: Heartless angel
Sephiroth can weaken one player so much that they can't act for two nights (the one he does it, and the one following).
When Sephiroth dies he infects the lifestream with geostigma; if three people are revived, so will Sephiroth, learning one of the active and passive abilities from the newly revived players.
Active: Serial kidnapper
Bowser can kidnap one player at night, but has to release that player to kidnap a different one (kidnapped player can't be targeted while kidnapped, nor can they vote).
Glados can use her immense hacking abilities to learn the identity of another player.
Passive: The cake is a lie
When a character dies Glados will stash their bodies in a bakery hiding their identities from everyone else (not including Villains).
Active: Zombie U
Wesker can use his vaccines to bring back the dead, they wont necessarily be loyal to the villain team, but they won't turn on Wesker (their votes/attacks will always fail against him).
The first move will always miss Wesker.
Win condition: Get lynched, twice.
A random ability will be used on the target.
If Sheo dies, he'll just come back to life the following day/night.
2nd Passive: God of Madness
- 1st Lynch: Something bad will happen to the heroes.
- 2nd Lynch: Something bad will happen to the villains.
- 3rd Lynch: Something bad will happen to the THIRDs
Lee & Clem
Win condition: Survive the game, doesn't matter who wins/loses, just survive
Passive: Papa wolf
If the pair are attacked, Lee will kill the attacker, but die in the process leaving Clem alone....again.
Win condition: Alex must be one of the last five standing.
Alex can absorb one character every other night.
Passive: I know what you know
If Alex absorbs another player, he will learn everything they know (obviously he wont be allowed into the Villains Pm, unless.....); if said player is a villain, he can ask to join the villains team (this will cause him to lose his original win condition, since he'd adopt the villains win condition).
Passive: Bio-mass accumulation
For every two characters consumed, Mercer gains a life.
Win condition: Chara must kill seven players in order to win.
Active: Genocide run
Chara can kill one character every day.
passive: Not your turn
Chara cant be attacked during his/her turn (day).
Passive: Rage quit
Chara needs to be attacked three times in order to die.
More characters will likely be added; I am open to suggestions.
