Lately (Since i've changed my avatar for Ryan Jordan), i've seen haters claming that the 2011 Green Lantern Movie is the worse movie adaption of all time... This list is to proove how wrong they are and how bad they should feel to lie like that.

@leo-343: Its weird, cause i dislike the cast and the trailer didnt look so great (Its funny coming from me though, as i'm not a trailer type of guy)... Now i can only speculate, but so far, i prefer Green Lantern over the idea i have of Fantastic Four Reboot (Not saying i wont change my mind if i discover i was wrong).

How is the world like in August 7th?

OK, I'm ghonna go through each of these individually because I feel like it:

• Iron Man III: Nah man, that was a good movie. Besides the Mandarin twist and obvious story miss steps, it was still entertaining and Robert Downey Jr. is enough to carry the movie.
• Batman and Robin: Yeah that movie was a disaster. I harbour hate for that movie. That movie is the worst thing to ever happen to us. Let's forget it ever happened, Kay?
• Howard The Duck: Have not seen it.
• Catwoman: In case you've noticed by now, I don't waste my time with bad movies.
• Daredevil: But I did with this one. And yup, deserves all the hate it gets.
• Steel: Have not watched it.
• Hulk: I never want to subject myself to this movie. Green Lantern is like Citizen Kane next to this one.
• The Wolverine: You're gonna slam the best comic book movie of 2013? This was leaps and bounds in front of Green Lantern.
• Ghost Rider (all of them): Meh. I'm ghonna hold my reservations about this one. They're both equally terrible.
• Fantastic Four: I'm not so sure about that. Yes, the movies were bad, but I loved them as a kid.
• Possibly: Ant-Man: Actually, Ant-Man was amazing.
• Possibly: Fantastic Four reboot: I have so much confidence in this movie. Save your reservations until you see it.

I would watch most of the movies listed here, back to back, before I would watch Green Lantern once.

Green Lantern wasn't as bad as its made out to be but it certainly wasn't good. The new Fantastic Four looks very promising, I don't understand any of the hate for it at all.

Food Fight is much, much worse on a technical level but also a more entertaining train wreck of a movie.

Green Lantern is called and is bad because well it just feels lazy and the villains just were boring and worse they spent $200 million on it and they just were assuming they would get a sequal. It was like a bad aping of Marvel movies and just why DC should do its own thing. There are definetly worse movies than Green Lantern, but coming a few years after The Dark Knight of course it will be called one of the worst because it is such a step down for comic book movies. I would definetly say Batman and Robin is the worst big budget movie and Mommie Dearest is the worst movie ever made imo.

Some of you guys are high. Ant-Man, Iron Man 2 or 3, Thor 1 or 2 and the Wolverine were not worse than GL.

Man of Steel(2013).

@dum529001: I actually really liked MoS. It's my favorite DC movie put to film thus far.

TDKR on the other hand? I'd watch GL twice over having to sit through that once.

If people really favor Man of Steel then that reflects poorly on the other DC movies. Why? Because Man of Steel was a bad Superman movie. Warner Brothers Studios are in trouble. Too bad they are more concerned about making money than staying true to the nature of the characters.

@dum529001: I disagree. I think that WB did a great job. What isin't being true to the character? Clark killing Zod? If he hadn't then Zod would have won. It's that simple. If there is something else that makes you think it's a crap movie, what is it?

What is wrong with the Man of Steel movie?? Plenty.

1. Superman acting like a brooding emotionally unstable teenager. Superman gone EMO.

2. No mention of the pursuit of truth, justice and the American way.

3. Zod's plan of remaking krypton cancels out the superhuman powers of krptonians by changing the earth atmospheric pressures to match Krypton's. Stupid plan

4. Giving Speeches about how great Superman/Clark is going to be instead of focusing on what makes Superman a hero, such as him valuing the pursuit of truth, justice and the american way.

5. Lois Lane appears EVERYWHERE in order to move the story along. You know why they had her everywhere for the sake of moving the plot? Because the plot sucks.

6. Superman acts like a bit of jerk.

7. Superman lets his adopted Father die trying to save a dog from a tornado when he could have saved him.

8. The CG effects sucked. Looked like something of a first generation Xbox. Warner Brothers studios sucks at emulating superhuman speed and punch-shockwaves in this movie.

8. Superman did not have to kill Zod but killing Zod is not why the movie sucks. They just tried to use Zod's death at Superman's hands to make up for rest of the badly done movie.

9. The whole film had a dark tint and coloring to it. It does not make me take their stupid plot more seriously.

And Warner Brothers studios need to stop trying to "Batmanize" Superman. Batman is about balancing VENGEANCE and JUSTICE. Superman is about Truth, Justice and the American way.

Some of the fans were so hyped for this Man of Steel movie that even once they saw that the movie is bad they have to trick themselves into thinking it is good because accepting the reality that Man of Steel was a bad movie and Warner Brothers Studios Screwed them over just to make some quick money is too painful for them to accept.

Hmm, I agree. Food Fight would only dream they had the artistic beauty as Don Bluth's works.

True that, even the worst of Don Bluth still contains quality.

If we're going for potentials I'd definitely add Suicide Squad.

Thor - The fairly hot cheerleader to Green Lanterns steamy, festering turd on the pavement on a hot sunny day.

Iron man 2 - Not quite as bad.

@black_wreath: Im glad personally I find it dark and dull and it just never seems to. It is probabally the most miserable time Ive ever had watching a movie.

This is where i shamefully admit, I actually enjoyed the movie =(

I actually haven't even watched it... because I got the feeling it wouldn't be worth my money. Looks like I was right.
