Kinda boring movies you actually thought were good.

My top three of the top of my head are

1. Killing Season (2013) "If you can get past John Travolta's bad acting"
2. Valhalla Rising (2009)
3. The Clearing (2004)

I've seen countless good boring movies but titles escape my mind at the moment I'll probably post some later.

What exactly do you mean by that? Movies that bored you but you saw good things in them?

I just mean slow paced, not much action & lots of dialogue or next to none.

It's really up to your own opinion of what is boring, as long as you also liked it. EDIT: Also I want to put an emphasis on the word "kinda".

If you mean slow-paced non-action films that I liked, pretty much all my favorites are like that.

If you mean films that bored me but that I could still see good things that other people would like in them, then most Ingmar Bergman films, Solaris, Nostalghia, and a few others I don't recall right now.

Well like the overly long boat ride in Valhalla Rising, your just watching these guys slowly die for what seemed like forever, The beginning was mostly dialogue, the middle was mostly staring at half dead men doing nothing & then there were some Native Americans at the end.

It was dull as shit but I loved it.

@diarrhea_regatt: Oh, then 2001: A Space Odyssey had a 10 minute acid-trip sequence and Stalker had a several minutes long sequence of the main characters sitting next to a room contemplating life silently while it somehow rains indoors. Both of those are among my favorite films ever.

Although I was never bored, I can see why most of Godzilla Resurgence would be boring for most viewers.

I get it, those 2 movies are boring as hell, when I was a kid, I couldn't watch Batman Begins without falling asleep. I managed to get through it on my 6th attempts.

Best Horror movie I’ve ever seen. It’s dull as **** though. You can’t watch it twice.

Serendipity with Kate Beckensale and John Cusack

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.

I remember asking my mom way too many times to rent it back when i was a kid because that box art made me think it was an awesome monster/spectacle movie like Critters, or Tremors, or Blob, or the Ghostbusters.

I didn't realized back then that mom was just sparing me from disappointment.

But one time when I got some high grades and she asked me for a reward she had no choice but to rent it.

Me and my sisters slept throughout the entire movie.

I guess Loving Vincent, as the movie can get quite boring, but the animation manage to be something I have never seen before, and while not perfect, I can appreciate the movie ambition and trying to tell a story of a famous painter. I mean I thought it was okay, not good, but okay and I can see why people would like it.

I don't consider these boring but a lot of people would:

Criminally underrated movie.

Am a little ashamed to admit that I didn't know that movie existed until now. Brad Pitt & Casey Affleck? That's gotta be good! Casey's had more than a few bad roles but he's nonetheless an underrated topnotch actor & one of my favorites.

@diarrhea_regatt: I thought it was great. Slower paced but the movie itself looks beautiful. Jeremy Renner and Sam Rockwell are in it as well.

Replace Jeremy Renner with Nathan Fillion & then were talking. I do still like Renner though.

Some old Disney Channel movie. Maybe Halloween Town or Stuart Little.

the Wolfman (2010).

That was a good one despite only having like two short action sequences. You can't make a bad movie starring Hopkins & Del Toro, it's impossible!

I also liked No Country for old men even though it was kinda hard to pay attention to.

@diarrhea_regatt: I bought it having no idea what it was about and I really liked it but it's one of those movies I wouldn't recommend to someone unless they are really into movies.

Somewhat. I mean if you are a horror move fan like me. Other people find it average and boring though. I did not so, I mentioned its name. I mean I actually thought its good.

I can kinda understand that. Wasn't there battle with the giant mosquito thingies & the crazy rapture ladies shenanigans more or less the only action sequences in the movie?

For a monster movie it wasn't too exiting.

And it also ended with the guy killing his friends or family just so that they don't die a horrible painful death. Only to witness the military coming to the rescue in the end right.

One of the funniest tragedies in film! That shit was horrible but I couldn't help but bust out laughing.
