Nicolas Cage 43%

Who is the better actor and why?

Keanu Reeves. I can take him seriously.....and he wasn't in the remake of the Wicker Man. Oh god, Nicolas Cage made that movie cringe worthy.

Keanu, while he usually sucks, IS capable of a riveting performance (Matrix, TDtESS). Cage at his best (Kick-Ass, Sorcerer's Apprentice) is when he decides to amp his hammitude.

I kinda liked Cage in Lord of War - though both these actors can feel rather detached or the same guy in every film played.

I love the bees.

I'm voting for Keanu because I like him more. Nicolas Cage is better but he also does whatever movie he can, which lowers the quality of his work. Keanu's a nice guy and people give him a lot of undeserved flack. And it's not like he's a downright terrible actor, hes done some decent enough work. Alright maybe hes no where near as good as Cage but i feel bad for Keanu. People should give the guy a break, ya know? At the very least he knows a good movie when he sees one, most notably the Matrix and Speed (both modern classics).

Cage won a freacking Oscar.

They bot talk and notice that are the only actor that care for normal people and actually do their own stunts.

Also they talk that ating is not about winning awards and how the rest of Hollywood sucks because they only think about that.

Cage

Donated $2 million to provide shelters, medical and psychological rehabilitation for child soldiers

Supports homeless charity, Chrysalis

Donated $1 million to help victims of Hurricane Katrina

Reeves

When his sister was diagnosed with leukemia, Reeves became her caretaker, making her meals, preparing her medication, putting entire film shoots

on hold, and donating millions to the hospital that was treating her so they could advance their leukemia research.

Reeves' lack of care for his own money extends as far as giving $80 million of his Matrix salary away to the special-effects team and costume designers who worked on the trilogy, as he believes they are the ones who deserve all the credit. According to Reeves, "Money is the last thing I think about. I could live on what I've already made for the next few centuries."

If you're really in need, though, all you have to do is get a job as one of the hundreds of crew members who work at his film shoots. When Reeves isn't buying breakfast and lunch for the crew or surprising them with Harley-Davidsons, he's giving away $20,000 so they can pay off their debts.

Man, I've only ever like Reeves in Matrix. I've enjoyed Cage in the Sorcerer's Apprentice, Kick Ass, The Rock, Gone in Sixty Seconds, and both National Treasure films.

Cage, I love that guy, and I actually think that when given a good script he could be good.

He is great with a good script; i.e. "Matchstick Men", "Lord of War", "Adaptation", "8mm". He has a few more great roles, then just a bunch of entertaining ones. He is a better actor , obviously, but for me, there is something very nostalgic about Keanu Reaves. Its probably the Bill and Ted movies (and Point Break). I guess i was just at the right age during the early '90's

Keanu Reeves because of his Canadian connection. Pretty much the only reason he wins for me.

Cage is far better. The only reason he doesn't do well is because he picks awful film roles. As for Keanu...Bram Stoker's Dracula, The Matrix...He's stacked with great films and never capitalizes.

Wow that''s impressive. Have a lot of respect for both of them now.

They are both good actors. I dont think keanu gets as much credit as he deserves. I've liked him ever since i saw him in River's Edge. A very underrated film.

Constantine vs. Ghost Rider hmmm

lol Honestly though, I like Keanu a little bit more. Cage is good, I just think reeves adds more zest to his roles.

Nicolas Cage won't be realized for his genius until his death. Only then will people see how his crazy antics of seemingly nonsensical reasoning were brilliance. Mark my words.
