Aldo's demise is coming soon and the countdown continues as the last days we get to see Aldo as champion are approaching. He better have that belt sparkly clean, shiny, and ready to give to Mcgregor. Aldo has had a great career of impressive wins but a new king will emerge at UFC 194. All hail, Conor McGregor
Jose Aldo's retirement party
@somayareece: I'm now a fan of yours.
@somayareece: I see you took @comicstooge 's place.
McGregor fans are so insecure, lol.
heh
@laflux: They talk so much smack to hide the fear
@comicstooge: Not going to lie I want him to beat Aldo so he can move to lightweight.
McGregor fans are so insecure, lol.
heh
Not insecure just confident :)
@iragexcudder: lol Good comparison.
@somayareece: No. It's overcompensation because deep down you know he's gonna lose.
McGregor fans really are the worst of all UFC fans, I hope Aldo completely out matches him just to see what he and his fans have to say then.

"But he still has all the noombahs in the game!"

Do you even watch UFC or have any idea of Jose's record?
@comicstooge: I seen his fight against Chad Mendes. Mendes had him in lots of dangerous spots. McGregor's win was more impressive.

You're aware Mendes had 2 weeks to prepare, right? He was clobbering Conor until he gassed out. Aldo beat Mendes twice.
Even if he gets passed Aldo, how do you think he'll do at lightweight?
Both of them are ovverated. Connor has shit take down defense against wrestlers and Jose while his leg kicks are great he isnt that good of a wrestler.
Both are hyped beyond belief.
@comicstooge: Ronda barely trained at all for the Miesha fight. Chad knew the consequences of facing the King prior to not training long enough. Mighty Mouse also beat The Magician twice but it doesn't take away from their ability.
If McGregor gets passed Aldo then he will dominate in the Lightweight division as well. You can keep living in your fan-fiction of him being some mediocre fighter. He can beat Aldo and you know it.

He's not medicore, but he's going up against world class fighters when he's only either fought 2nd rate fighters or an ill-prepard Mendes. He didn't know he was fighting McGregor until 2 weeks prior.
The Lightweight division would chew Conor up and spit him out? You do know that's why he's a featherweight, right? He can't cut it at 155.
He got submitted in 30 seconds against Joseph Duffy:
I would be shocked if McGregor becomes ranked anything higher than #5 in the Lightweight Division.
Dos Anjos beat the brakes of Pettis, one of the most exciting fighters I've ever seen and can do stuff McGregor wouldn't even dream of.
@comicstooge: Ronda barely trained at all for the Miesha fight.
Ronda is far above the rest of her division in a way only Pre Coke Jon Jones was though.

He's trolling anyway.
@comicstooge: I would still like to see Mcgregor in lightweight though. He'd draw more attention to the division.
These kinds of threads have become amusing.

And you have won this one.

McGregor still has time to improve and become a better fighter. I'm not expecting him to go in that division and steam roll fighters. He will definitely have to put in hard work.

Understandable but Ronda kind of faced a consequence for it though. That's why that fight went to round 3.
But if Jose Aldo wins...
Then he wins and go back to being unknown. I didn't know who he was and why he is champion before the beef with McGregor.

o.0
Before Connor McGregor got Big in the UFC, Jose Aldo was Pound 4 Pound one of the Best MMA Fighters in the World... it's kind of sad you didn't know who he was until essentially a few years ago... because Aldo has been great for some time now.
Then he wins and go back to being unknown. I didn't know who he was and why he is champion before the beef with McGregor.
Way to admit you've been an MMA fan for like a week and know nothing about the sport.
He could be top ten at lightweight, but Dos Anjos, Khabib, Johnson, Cerrone, ect. would smash him.

Can you explain what you're talking about? Your criticisms against McGregor are legitimate. Your criticisms against Aldo are ridiculous, that he's a bad wrestler. Despite coming from a bjj background, Aldo fights primarily as a striker. He likes to stay on his feet. His wrestling serves that goal perfectly. He stuffs something like 90% of takedowns and when he does get down, he pops up almost immediately. And this is against guys like Mendes and Edgar. Edgar got 2 of 11 takedown attempts, Mendes 1 of 8. Aldo was held down in the 5th round of the Mark Hominick fight, and I believe in the Lamas fight. But he was gassed and had dominated both fights up till then. His cardio has since improved dramatically.
In addition to this, when he does incorporate takedowns into his game against guys like Mark Hominick, they work great. He got 5 of 9 takedowns against Hominick. So maybe explain what you mean?
@calvinr: best ufc fighter? Let him move up to 155, and fight RDA.
@the_new_avenger: Do you want McGregor to die?
@thebourneposter: I was talking about Aldo, someone said Aldo was the best fighter in the UFC, imo RDA stomps both tho, he destroyed one of the best strikes for 5 rounds straight and still looked like he could go 3 more rounds.
@the_new_avenger: Yeah safe bet right now is RDA against either of them.
@thebourneposter: RDA passed his first set of drug test after beating Pettis, but some people still doubt him, so win he beats Cowboy again hopefully he passes the drug test because, i think he makes a good camp.
@the_new_avenger: He is a good champ. Will probably beat Cowboy up pretty bad too.
@calvinr: best ufc fighter? Let him move up to 155, and fight RDA.
RDA would beat Aldo, for being bigger and stronger. And by having more experience in 155 lbs. However, IMO Aldo is better fighter.
@calvinr: Aldo is to big for 145, that's why he uses IV to stay healthy while cutting wait, and Multiple people can beat him at 155 not just RDA. And Frankie was able to be champ at 155 so why can't Aldo? If he was the "best" he could find a way to make 155 work.
@the_new_avenger: Good point. But Frankie Edgar won most of his fights by points. Using much of his wrestling. Aldo is more striking, that's why it would take more risks in 155. Only the future for to answer these questions. Aldo has fallen from income. Changing the subject, in his opinion, who will win? McGregor or Jose Aldo?
@calvinr: I'm pulling for Conner, but i know Aldo is dangerous.
@somayareece: Lol way to discredit yourself and make yourself look like a joke. Typical Conor fan talking big with no knowledge.
If Aldo wins McGregor will look like a complete fool, but not anywhere near as foolish as fans like you.
Do you honestly think he'd do well in lightweight? What has he done to show that? Beat a bunch of 2nd class fighters and just about clinch a win against Mendes?
