People don’t risk their lives to get to Canada, like they do for the US. So absolutely not.

@edamame:

Yes. The answer is obvious.

Canada has triple the migrants to the US than the other way around, despite have 9X less the population.

For me, it depends if the job market for banks, cashiers and entry-level positions in US outweighs the free healthcare that Canada provides.

@edamame:

I take it you don’t live in the US and read a lot of garbage. Third world country lmao. The most prosperous nation in the history of the world.

As for the “huh” you in a previous post listed a bunch of things saying the answer is obvious. So I told you that 3x the people from Canada migrate to the US than people from the US migrate to Canada. 3x the people despite Canada having 9X less the population of the US.

So, yeah, you’re incorrect.

@edamame:

Keep reading that anti US propaganda brotha. The numbers aren’t in your favor. In comparison to countries of 300million plus populations it isn’t even close.

Because humans aren't perfect living beings, the last time humanity went beyond and transcended to a more distinguished modern era, was during the Renaissance, those pushing the Western world far beyond any other culture, I'm more than sure that we will experience the second Renaissance, many say it will be the bloodiest transition humanity will ever experience and not peaceful.

"The Renaissance is a period in European history, covering the span between the 14th and 17th centuries and marking the transition from the Middle Ages to modernity. The traditional view focuses more on the early modern aspects of the Renaissance and argues that it was a break from the past, but many historians today focus more on its medieval aspects and argue that it was an extension of the Middle Ages."

Only in regards to innovation, entrepreneurship, environmental pollution, exponential wealth, excessive military spending and things like that. As previously stated, Life in America is only comfortable if you are rich.

I already explained why this is the case, and it is due to a stricter immigration system and very cold weather. :)

Not true. As long as you aren't homeless, even the poor working class of America pretty much all have smartphones, can relatively good food, live in air conditioning, have running water and a proper toilet, ect. The U.S. isn't even close to a third world country. Obviously it's better to be wealthy, but that goes with every country.

@edamame: I’m not denying there are some major problems in the US that need fixing, but that goes for all countries. The majority of US citizians live better than the majority of the world.

Lol, USA is a shit hole. Although I don't like JT, Canadian people are at least way more educated and have access to health care. Not to mention the guns stuff. Unless you are a blind patriot, there is literally no reason to defend USA.

The only actual point he might have is that Canada ranks ahead in education (which might not even be true since America is ranked ahead of Canada in the Education Index in 2015)

The notion that in America you don't have access to Healthcare is laughable. Clearly, made by someone who isn't American or someone who believes in dumb shit like "MeDiCArE fOr AlL" or "PriVAtE InSUraNcE iS BaD"

The worst part is the "guns stuff" Since when is arming yourself for self-defense from others and a corrupt, tyrannical government a bad thing? It's almost like banning guns from the populous to make sure the Government won't have any resistance back at home if they do become tyrannical is...what the Founding Fathers fought against and want to prevent it from happening again? And no, mass shootings aren't an argument against.

@kalkent: Lol, call me salty as much as you want, my people don’t die in school or club shootings. It is amazing that some asocial teenager can get an AK-47 as easy as I can buy a soda from the market. Also USA’s education level is obvious.

And what would you prefer I or other Americans do about that? Pass and assault weapons ban like Bill Clinton did that didn't do jack? Plus your statement isn't even true.

@mr_shazam0920: Now kind sir, I am not from Canada. I live in a shithole in Middle East. However I had chance to visit both USA and Canada. Besides that I translate international reports for certain people (not from dumb sources like CNN and BBC). I am quite aware of what has been going on both countries. Canada’s migration ratio doesn’t indicate that USA is superior. As you know, people call USA the land of dreams. If you have a vision and a proper education, many doors and chances are open to you. A qualified person can gain way more money with lesser effort in USA compared to Canada. However if you are an unqualified person, USA is hell for you. Canadian citizens are much more educated than USA’s and they can find jobs with higher salary and a guarenteed care. Also Canada’s climate is one of the, if not most important reason for migration. I’d love to argue more but being on the phone and typing is kinda hard. Thanks for reading.

There's a reason why 85% of Canada lives within a 100 miles of the US border - they don't to be in Canada either. Just jokin' - sorta of.

@hellfireunit:

Lmao.

Who gives a damn about unqualified people? Why do people constantly care about the lowest common denominator?

Canada has 9X less people than the USA. Education, healthcare, etc is not a fair gauge.

Please tell me where the USA ranks amongst countries of populations of 300 million and more in those areas? I’ll wait.

Canada's more racist than the US? Where in Canada do you all live lmfao? Shiiieeet where I'm at I pray people could be a tadbit more judgmental. I remember in Gr. 10 english an astonishing number of my classmates said 'love is love' to pedophilia. My Gr. 9 French teacher invited me to a workshop where I witnessed a bearded man (dude had a lot of chest hair too) walk around in makeup and a dress.

God it was awful.
