In your opinion what's the most favorable state or territory in the U.S.?
Texas and it's not even close.
As a former Texan I want so bad to bash on Texas but when I really think about it it really is a pretty kick ass state.
Texas and it's not even close.
Yeah, if you like white hate groups, forced religion, prison population & a ridiculously low graduation rate.

Whats not to love
@benjamin_poindexter: It's very easy to look at the worst parts of any state and say that's why you shouldn't live there.

Trust me, Texas isn't as racist as you may think. If you want to talk about racist states then look at Oklahoma, Arkansas & Arizona.
Michigan is underrated. we have 4 major seasons, the great lakes, coneys, and now legal marijuana.
Michigan got my vote & I've never even lived there but yeah it touches 4 great lakes, has a some of islands namely Mackinac which I will make my capitol during the zombie apocalypse.
New York. Biased.
And it's not Florida.
Florida could be a great place, if everything from West Palm Beach to Miami fell into the ocean.
That’s not nice. We in SoFla drive the economy for the whole state.
Oops! I forgot Jacksonville & Tampa, Orlando sucks too but I'll let you keep Orlando;)
@insomnimaniac: Forget the zombies man, at the end of the day Michigan has almost 80% of the world's fresh non salt water source.

No no no.....It's my water! Don't worry though, I only claimed it so I could share it.
@eichholtz: Michigan also has the 4th lowest cost of living in the nation.

we got the legal bud, All we need to do is legalize sports gambling and then Michigan is bangin'

So in short, Michigan freakin' rules!
@benjamin_poindexter: None of the above are true in Texas lmao.

Right, I don't get it, Texas is supposed to be like 85% Caucasian but were the hell are all the white people hiding?
Every city I lived in in Texas, whites are the minority.
@insomnimaniac: I don't know the exact numbers but Texas is pretty mixed, Texas has a huge Latin community. I won't lie some backroad hick towns are racist but that's far from what Texas is like.
California sucks.
Colorado, Texas, and Michigan are the 3 best states I've lived in.
What's wrong with California? Not that I'm trying to defend California I've just never been there & I'm genuinely curious as to what you don't like about it.
Oregon, since I live there. But PoOre is becoming a sanctuary city and it's pissing us off; transients leaving their shit and trash everywhere. Other than that, we had/have a couple cool shows filmed here, like Grimm and the upcoming Stumptown based in Portland.
@insomnimaniac: Stupid laws, too crowed and it's dry as hell.
California Love. My new job has had me travel to other states and stay for a few weeks, so I get an idea of what it’s like living there. So far, of the states I’ve been to, none of them beat California. I actually really enjoyed Florida, Nevada, Georgia, and so far Texas, but the climate and attitudes of the people (in general, at least) can’t beat California. For me, those are the most important aspects of living anywhere. Sure, the government has its issues (can’t even deny it’s pretty piss poor right now), but every state does. And there’s so much to do, and so many places to go to find things that you like.
