I don't want to call attention to any stereotypes but i'm almost certain that most African-Americans (if they post here) will say they were hip-hop in the 90's and still are. So as a "black" man myself I would have to say I am hip-hop to the death..but at the same time I do listen to other types of music (not metal though). Also, Hip-Hop is on a decline as far as creativity is concerned. It's like rappersartist don't realize that people judge us based on what our celebrities say (especially when it comes to Hip-Hop).

I was Hip Hop in the 90's. I didnt start to like Rock until around 1999 or 2000 when a friend of mine gave me a No Doubt and Red Hot Chili Peppers CD then I started to like Rock, but for the core of my life Hip Hop has been the standard for me.
