If You Die In A Dream Do Yo Die In Real Life?

Nah, I die in dreams pretty frequently...

Let me guess it was one of those times where you nearly died but never actually achieved it or you died but were still present at your own funeral so you obviously didn't die.

I can't remember the last time I had a dream

Neither... I get chased by things, get bored of running, let them kill me. Or I drown.

Did you actually get to the point of death though or were you jut about to die and then woke up because the latter has happened to me plenty of times.

@riddlerfan77: There's not really a difference. If you are conscious for it, the you aren't dead yet. Death is the loss of consciousness, so you're either going to wake up or shift to a different dream and there would be no way to remember that particular instance.

@valorknight: There are also people who forget to breathe in their sleep. I am sure this might trigger a death related dream.

I generally don't die for real in my dreams, I'm either indestructible or just keep respawning.

I've died many times, even decapitated, yet I'm still alive...

I'm pretty sure I've died in dreams.

Looking back on it now. I remember I had a dream where I was in a land full of dragons and I was hopping on clouds then I tripped and fell leading to me waking up IRL. So I guess you won't die.

I once died in a dream and came back as like an evil ghost at a carnival

I've died in dreams plenty of times but 5 years ago I became conscious in my dreams and can now control them so I no longer die

I don't even dream that much if I'm being honest, when I do they don't make much sense.

@riddlerfan77 I have died in my dreams many times and I don't mean near death, I mean actually die. Most recently I dreamt that I was hiding under a table in a mass shooting and was found and shot in the abdomen and bled out to death.

I die all the time in my dreams, it's not so bad.

According to many dude's girlfriends, if you cheat in your dreams or her dreams you cheat in real life. I think there might be something to it.

I don't think so, no, though I've somehow never died in a dream.

Once I was being held at gunpoint and about to be shot, but the dream ended right there.

The other one, I was making a deal with some guys for a reason, then things go south, my guys are shot, but when the guy tries to shoot me, I miraculously dodge every bullet, get up close and beat him up.

@gripper: Sometimes I die and then have a 3rd person view of my body like I'm a ghost/spirit or something. It's pretty trippy at times.

I died in a dream once (got shot) and became an ineffective ghost. As of this posting I am alive in real life.

I've died so many times in dreams before. It seems to be a reoccurring thing with me.

I was in my funeral in my dream, does that count. Usually I wake up before dying. I mean stupid question, but it is interesting that I never straight up die in a dream without waking before it happen.
