What would it be?
And no, 'the president' isn't a valid answer.
The attitude that everyone owes me something. The rich think they're owed tax breaks because they think they "stimulating the economy", minorities and the poor think they're owed money or special treatment because other people have more money "unfairly", the middle class think they're owed jobs that don't always exist because times have changed. This country owes it's citizens only a few things...freedom to live how they choose, and the OPPORTUNITY to make their lives better. Life ain't always easy or fair, the rich need to get their greedy heads out of their asses and realize that while they DO pay the majority of taxes in the country they don't need those tax breaks, minorities need to realize that no one owes them anything but respect and a fair chance to succeed, and the middle class need to realize that the job market has changed and they need to get educated to get jobs in the market that IS available.
Call me an asshole if you want, but reality is reality.
@laflux: Oh never mind general, only on about Wales really. If I'm honest, only really referring to my immediate vicinity at any given moment, hehe. Screw Wales. I want to be warmer :P
I don't want to bait out your home town, but I never thought of it as one of the colder parts of wales.
Reinstate the monarchy and return to the glorious days of the Empire.
Actually, this is better.
@old_blighty: No regrets! >:P
Roe v Wade
Same.
Abortion
There's literally hundreds of things that you could choose that would actual better the lives of millions of even better your own lives and yet this is the choice you make? Something that effects you 0%? It blows my mind.
Net Neutrality.
@majinblackheart: It blows your mind that I would care about 60 million babies murdered? Why would I care because it doesn't affect me? Wow. It could have affected me. I might not be here if my mom chose to have an abortion. 1st step to bettering millions of lives is to not kill them off.
@emperor_jar_jar: where on earth are you getting 60 million from? What country do you live in?
And I didn't say you shouldn't care. But there are other choices you could make to save more lives. Or to improve education and quality of living to reduce abortions. And just because those babies are born doesn't mean those who have them or the babies themselves will have quality lives.
The vast majority of abortions are under 13 weeks and a good percentage of those are for medical reasons. I'm pro choice but actually anti-abortion. I'd never recommend one for a non life threatening reason but ultimately it's not my decision to make. And it isn't yours either.
