If someone copies a good quote you wrote and pastes it onto their Facebook wall without crediting you, would you be unhappy?
Unless it is really specific (one which consists of unique details), I wouldn't assume any quotes that I wrote is original, nor assume that anyone who come up with the same thing copied it from me.
@mimisalome: What if you said "today is World Hunger Day, but the topic of world hunger should be relevant every day so long as there are people hungry" and he copied and pasted that? Also, assume he's a stranger you don't know.

I'm pretty sure that, in concept, it's not some novel remarks.
I have seen dozens of variations of such expression used everyday in my living existence
Now if I have actually seen him copy pasted the same remark that I posted, I wouldn't care, it seems pretty petty to confront someone over an idea that isn't really that original to begin with.
No it isn't if its a quote.
A quote can be used anywhere. If it was a story then yea it'd be wrong.
But it's a quote.
@richubs: @mimisalome: Thanks for the answers, I guess I'm just getting a bit salty lol
@arranvid: Me too.
Mostly at their lack of originality
I would mess up the guys Facebook for the rest of time. Post evil on his wall and put bad comments on all his posts.
