If a villain is beating your friend,would you help your friend?

I wouldn't interfere in single combat if it was mutual.

If my friend started some shit then I'll just let him get his ass beat.

If my friend got jumped then yeah it's 2 on 1 then.

If it was mutual, only if the fight was getting out of control.

It it wasn't, then yes.

If he's in calling for help or if he's obviously getting his ass beat, then yeah I'll jump right in there.

But seriously though. If you're talking about real life, why refer to the guy he's fighting as a villain? It sounds so corny. Like the dude your friend is fighting has Mastermind plans to take over the world or some dumb shit.

I'm not gonna stand there and watch my friend get pummeled, da*** is this a question.

Assuming the “villain” started the fight and my friend is innocent, I will jump in and try to be a peacemaker. Now if the fight gets out of control and/or the man won’t listen to my pleas to stop beating my friend, then I will threaten to call the police. If he decides to go after me because I followed up on y threat, then I will stand my ground and defend myself and my friend until the police arrives. I will use whatever weapons are available in my immediate surroundings to protect my friend and I. If I have to take a beating in order to stall for the cops, then I will. This "villain" is causing violence and I can't just stand there and do nothing.

Depends on the villain I have to face. I might call somebody else to help my friend.

Maybe I’d help. Depends on whether my friend started the altercation, and I wouldn’t want to jump into a 1 v 1 fight unless it looks like one person is going too far and the other person’s life is in danger.

Your not wrong there, I've managed to talk my way out of over 90% of the confrontations I've been in in one way or another.

Depends on how the fight started. Considering you said villain, I'm gonna assume my "friend" was attacked. In which case I probably jump in.

@algorhythm511: Yeah. But talking your way out of confrontations normally include allowing the other person to feel superior over you and letting them disrespect you and letting them just walk away.

The main reason why people don't try and deescalate situations is because don't nobody wanna let somebody feel like they can just walk over them.

It's a mix of all. Call for backup first, if possible (cops or friends). Buy time by trying to reason with him (if that seems like a possibility). Jump in if it fails.
