I don't generally like to fight people. But if she is attacking me, I'll defend myself like I would against a man.

I'd just push, I wouldn't punch. I rarely ever see women taller/bigger so me punching with full force is legit dangerous. I'd only ever punch if it was absolutely necessary.

I would restrain her and ask someone to call the cops while holding her off, if she's capable of hitting me a stranger she's a danger to the public as she would do the same to anyone else. If there were context behind it, well it depends. I wouldn't just randomly get into a scuffle with someone I know unless it's truly warranted, we don't know ourselves as well as anyone else. So we can potentially act out of our clear conscious.

If her initial strike is a preemptive act to something more serious like attempted murder (or intent to cause serious harm), I would probably hit her in return if it helps in neutralizing further hostile actions,

Once I a little bit drunk got in a fight with another little bit drunk girl and held back with my punches and her, not so much (just below the face) (she was a tough lesbian girl (Okay I'm not saying all lesbians are like that, but she was, ride skate and was very funn) and when she started becoming aggresive I tried to got out bc it was not worthy (she was angered and I don't know why maybe because she recently finished a relationship and saw a girl trying to start a hook up with her ex, I saw that too in the same party) then she punched me in the the nose while I was looking away trying to pick my things and go home, it did hurt a bit and took some blood out... Then I just went away angered! (in the same period she stated I hurted her with my punches) I was angry at her and at the same time thinking about myself if I did really hurt (maybe) but then I realized she was a crazy one girl who couldn't contain her own feelings and my intent the whole time was to not hurt her at all, was angry at her but always controlled myself.

Moral of the story: Fucked up night, she was way overboard because I didn't wanna fight anymore, punched me in the nose while I was looking away whille I was trying to go home because didn't want to fight even if it was just playing.

If the hit is a precursor for something else, and if that "something else" involves me potentially being injured, then, yes, I'm going to defend myself, which includes striking back if I believe it is necessary. If there's another way out of the situation, however, I'm taking it.
