Test it out. Wear a shirt that is anti-Trump and has similar sexual innuendo (the Grab them by the Pussy shirt above seems roughly analogous in scope).
If they complain, it wasn't the leaning of the politics of the shirt, but the sexual innuendo involved.
If they don't complain, approach the VP anyway. Ask him if the shirt is appropriate for school (You being the model student you no doubt are, want to be appropriate in your attire, so you obviously took that step to ensure you aren't distacting your fellow students - what a guy!) and determine whether you have to change it.
Or continue hypothesizing about being persecuted for your beliefs based on nothing but suspicion without testing to see if you're actually correct or just want to feel persecuted. Either way.
Edit: for the record? I'm generally against censorship, and so I voted "No." I'd have to actually review to case law to see if what they did was constitutionally permissible (a separate question from whether you SHOULD have been censored - a question of what should be versus what is allowed by law), but there's a strong chance it was (minors tend to have much more restricted rights compared to most).

I'm willing to bet it had more to do with the Monica line.
Of course. What I am saying is that if the shirt was anti-Trump and had a sexual innuendo, it would have been fine. Or at least, no one would have complained. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think I know my school pretty well.
