I take pride in my kicks & had a 60lb Pit come at me at 25mph maybe & he plowed right through it, no results it didn't phase him one bit. Luckily he was just playing, I only kicked him because he was being annoying, charging & jumping into me.

Oh yeah! If you can manage to do so eye gouging is the best in any fight but it's hard to do against a thrashing animal.

If there was no higher ground I could get to that would put me out of the putbull's reach I'd probably try to take off my shirt or sweatshirt and use it as a makeshift garrote to choke it to death. Now, whether or not I'd be able to keep calm and not panic enough to do this while it was charging at me is another question...

Climb into a car or truck and kick it in the face of it tries to climb up with me. Then call for help, I own a gun but I'm not going to shoot if I don't have too.

i usually carry a swiss army knife and some kind of contraption. i throw whatever i've got besides the knife at it as a distraction and book it if it catches me again i pull the knife or if i can climb onto a vehicle and wait for it to get bored

Yup.

Hate to say it, but the easiest way would be to let it bite your non-dominate arm and then strangle it until it passes out when it locks it jaw then call emergency services to have your arm looked at as well as deal with the pitbull. Dealing with a single canine is actually very easy to do as a human, even unarmed, just a matter of being willing to do it.

Running is a horrible plan.

I would try my best to drop on it when it lunges and try to hold its mouth closed while it is under me. If I have the time I try to get my shirt or jacket off to try to wrap it up. If not I will have to take my chances.

Maybe 50/50 of it working.
