I don't have one.
How would you personally describe your accent?
@comicace3: Fishtown and Kensington, but I live in Bryn Mawr now.
I don't think I have one, but everyone says I sound like a gay southerner.

@anna_karenina: ah right. I always find it strange hearing words normally spoken in a Glaswegian accent spoken in a different accent, things like aye and naw. It's cool but strange.
@redxiii18881990: I was surrounded by Glaswegians for 18 months. It was impossible not to get some influence. Btw, are you from Glasgow?

Hmmm portugese/glaswegian accent, What an interesting combo haha :P
I don't know.
I've lived in the South all my life, yet I don't have a Southern accent. Some people have asked me if I'm from the West Coast or from New York because of the way I sound. LOL.
@anna_karenina: hahaha yeah you'll be influenced by them. Yeah I was born in Glasgow, and have lived most of my life here. You mentioned you studied here? Where did you study if you don't mind me asking.
@redxiii18881990: Oh, that's great. I do miss Glasgow. :'-)
University of Glasgow. I lived in Murano St. for about 2 months. And then I moved to a flat in Kelvinhaugh St.
@anna_karenina: Glasgow is great! It one of my favourite places ever. Though I'm quite bias.
Ah nice! My friend studied in glasgow uni before moving to Australia. Kelvinhaugh sounds familiar to me for some reason, is it near kelvingrove park?
I sound like the german guy who produced medicaments for old people to feel happy again in the Simpsons
@redxiii18881990: Hahaha! If there's one thing I learned about the Scottish, and specially the Glaswegians, it is that they will always be biased when it comes to their country, their culture, their accent, and basically anything related to Scotland. They're just a proud people, and that's adorable. :P
Yes, you're right. West End area. It takes about 5 minutes walking to get to the Kelvingrove Park. The 78 Cafe Bar (an alternative pub) is situated in Kelvinhaugh St.
Mid Western US...I'm from Texas but people constantly tell me I don't have a southern accent. (My ex fiance actually complained about it)
@anna_karenina: we are a passionate bunch when it comes to our wee country! And our city's. And well almost everything.
The culture is one of my favourite things, it's quite unique in glasgow. Ranging from things like the architecture to the night life, it's all a unique experience.
Yeah I know where you are talking about. I've been out that way a fair few times especially over the summer. Spent a good few days chilling in KG park with my friends, then walking up to BrewDog.
Nørwegian;)
Me as well. lol
