How Do Your Parents Punish You ?

my parents never did the hitting. the grounded me, but when i really got out of line. my dad would have 5 or 6 of my cousins all around 5 years older then me kick my ass. i learned to be tough. loved violence thanks to that. i was able to hold them all off when i was 7. i tought me two things. the weak get beaten and being a smartass doesn't pay.

I used to get beatings from my Mother and Father they stopped beating me though when I was like 13 or 14 but they used to come out of nowhere and bust my azz. I wish I would have just gotten grounded sometimes. They always told me that it was for my own good. I never believed that was true.

I think your right. Those beatings didnt help me though. It only made me more rebelious against them.

Well... I don't know. My mom stopped hit me long before my dad did. Me and my dad got into a fight over some bullsh!t. Wasn't gonna put my hands on him until he started choking me. So, I punched the sh!t out of him, nearly knocking him on the floor. He could sit there and slap me around and I wouldn't do anything, but to choke me!? Oh, hell naw. I had to get him off me for that. He never hit me again after that.

Back when i was a senior in high school my mom would make me sit in a corner and stare at the wall from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the weekends

I get the paddle.... it hurts!

Then I get my xbox, computer and TV taken away... AND I cant go to any youth activities... its sucks... a lot.

im only 24

It went from spanking, to beat downs, to restrictions to threats.

My dad was the disciplinarian and he used the belt. I was fairly well behaved so I didn't get it often. I'm not saying that it's the only form of discipline, but I believe that it is very good for most children. All my friends who were spanked as kids, that I know of, are successful as adults, and seem happy.

wooden spoon, backhand, belt and the ocassional flogging... when they were sober... they were much better when they're pissed :P they give me money... and i like it.

they forced my to eat or drink things that even they don't know because they made it out of left overs (i believed) and put it in a blender sometimes chunks are left in it

When I was a kid waaaaaaaaay back in the early 1970's (you young 'uns might have to look that up in your history texts.....and get off my lawn), my old man wore what had to be the world's biggest, thickest leather belt. I mean this sucker was 3 inches wide, a quarter inch thick, and weighed d@mn near 3 pounds.

He'd use it to inflict corporal punishment on me whenever I got out of line, which was pretty much 'round the clock. To hell with nails on chalkboard, the sound of that belt clearing those belt loops was the most awful, chilling thing I've ever heard. Because of that d@mn belt, one of my @$$ cheeks is still bigger than the other. You have any idea how embarrassing it is to go to a business meeting and sit in the boardroom with a 30 degree list?

I was bigger than my Mom since I was in 6th grade.It wouldn't have done her any good to hit me.I don't see my dad enough for him to even get mad at me for anything so I don't realy get punished anymore.

I was hit and got into huge fight with my brothers and on the streets so i took plenty of beatings me and my brothers made my mam so angry she started throwing knives but then i got bigger than my family and most people so from that point my parents tried to clam me down with long talks so i wouldnt hit them but im usually the peace keeper of the family just the other week my little bro was out of it and was sick every were and my mam started beating on him so i had to seperate them even gave my mam one of those talks.

My dad used to beat me up but when I was 11 years old and he beat me up, I threatened to sue him and have him arrested...that was the last time he did that to me. In fact, he never punished me ever again after that.
