If you were in charge, what would you do? Were basically stuck in a rut right now, with income people who lost their job because of covid and cant get new ones also because of covid, are using george floyd and blm to do straight up robbery, thus hurting the economy and causing more unemployment. Then they blame the pres for threatening to use force if the riots dont stop, which is weird because what do they want, the government to let the riots happen?
How do we fix society?
@cocacolaman: lol were not all bad tho.
@rawsos: Fr tho, there's nothing we can do. Too many people are idiots, so every common sense thing to do isn't going to happnen.
@cocacolaman: unless govenrnment takes full control and "purifies" humanity. what do you think of blm? i think it should be all lives matter because blm is very self centered.
@rawsos: "Black Lives Matter" is not wrong, because black lives do matter. I don't really think there's anyone who thinks only black lives matter, just people who think white lives don't. I also hate the crimes they commit. I agree all lives matter.
The government needs to let us have some freedom. I am vehemently against abortion but I understand that women shouldn't be denied that privilege in very severe cases, and if I was president, I wouldn't make it illegal. Similarly, protests are a necessary part of America. We shouldn't deny the right to protest or riot. The main issue is that, when we start burning down grocery stores because one cop did something bad and it got a bit more publicity than normal, that's not protesting. I wouldn't complain at all if they sent in fully armed soldiers to fight these lunatics who think that crime to others is justified when it is done to protest crime.
I don't think it is fair to say that everyone at the events intends to do harm or violence. A USA Today report quoted a security consultant saying intelligence reports indicate many of the more serious protesters are far-left or anarchists. There are some in these cities with a violent agenda, but not all.
I think there is a lot of anger at what happened to George Floyd. We want to see justice done. Some have had negative experiences facing racism and will become more emotionally involved and can rationalize violence against others. This isn't helpful, appropriate, or constructive, but it is how they feel.
The reality is that long after the riots are over it is minority communities who will suffer from its aftermath. People with the financial means to move out will do so. Many minority businessmen will shut down and take their income with them. Businesses that are left will have to increase their prices to cover the damages, and increased insurance premiums. With less prosperity, community resources will suffer from schools. community aid programs and parks. And police will be much more tentative and leary about answering 911 calls in the areas affected.
I would blow up the planet and restart
Blowing up is kind of harsh(still viable though), restarting is definitely what humanity needs though

You were onto something though
The leftwing or the terrorist Communist uprisings are using Floyd's death in order to start a revolution
The leftwing destroying and looting stores because they're mad about the police and the conservatives are organizing themselves because they're angry about those far-left terrorists destroying private property, those damaging the economy and therefore the whole nation.

I sure was...
Daniel 2:44- “In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever”
Psalm 37:10,11- “Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more; You will look at where they were, And they will not be there. But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.”
Personally I’m going to sit back and remain neutral. No matter what side you’re on these days God is hardly thought about when it comes to making decisions. From the look of the world scene I think it’s pretty obvious something big is going to happen soon, with God at the helm. True lasting change isn’t coming through man, but through the Kingdom of God once it comes.
@squaddoubleyou: lol i feel like im in joker.
I don't necessarily agree with this, but I'm just gonna leave it here...
"I think human consciousness is a tragic misstep in evolution. We became too self-aware. Nature created an aspect of nature separate from itself. We are creatures that should not exist by natural law. We are things that labor under the illusion of having a self, this accretion of sensory experience and feelings, programmed with total assurance that we are each somebody, when in fact everybody's nobody. I think the honorable thing for our species to do is to deny our programming. Stop reproducing. Walk hand in hand into extinction. One last midnight, brothers and sisters opting out of a raw deal."
