You know its funny when I went to see Hostel 2 I hadnt seen the first one before. So a friend of mine told me about how Hostel was such a great horror movie. So I thought man its probably not as bad as everyone says it is. But when I went to see Hostel 2, Man I was in shock of how the gore was in the film.

i did forget that. but i saw that in some Hannibal movie. having someone bath in your blood is pretty bad too.

there's a difference. a movie can be scary without gore(can't think of any right now), but i think gore can be scary in some situations.

keep in mind the true horror of the movie is that this is all real ,the are real "hostels" in europe that do this,well not to the extremes we see in the movies,but bad stuff does go down there

i liked the hostel moves.

and Eli is currently doing a stephan king movie right now.

i saw the first one. i didnt think it was that good but i havent seen the second one yet.

but was it better? the gore was disgusting but i would put up with it for a good or interesting story. the first one was just... kinda predictable.

I hate the Hostel films. Thats not a horror movie, anyone (and I mean anyone) can make a movie about torture. I saw the first, and I'll never watch the second or third.

i'm with you, it was all torture basically and i'm just not into that. i liked the first two saw movies though because the stories were pretty good, not good but pretty good, but hostel...

Not at all, I'm just saying they don't make enough of those type of horror flicks. Most go for the blood and gore to try and overwhelm the viewers that way. It gets old pretty fast, but when you put the psychological terror in there it makes it really scary.

havn't seen any of em' yet. i really want to. i heard about the second one, but im not disturbed by gory parts.. also saw movies were good, some parts are predictable though.

well i was not overly impressed with the first one myself I am kind of a classic horror man as in Friday the 13th etc what I can't wait to see is Halloween Unrated Rob Zombie film hells yeah!
