Homeless woman gets picked on for having an opinion...

To be honest, I'm really pissed and this video actually made me cry. It sucks that people can't grow up and except that others have different opinions. What I saw here was disgusting, and I hope the douche bags in this video get what's coming to them.

So they attack an old homeless lady because she had a pro-Trump sign?

I keep rewatching the part of the video where she falls. I don't think she was even touched. She just lost her footing and fell. Very misleading title.

Homeless guy with Trump signs asked me for a dollar the other day and I gave him the change I had on me. He asked me If I liked Trump, I simply told him no and that I wasn't sure who I would be voting for. THEN, he told me he actually supports Clinton and only holds the Trump signs because as a black homeless man living in the south he needs an edge to get a dollar.......I still can't decide if I'm disappointed or impressed.

Yeah I mean obviously this is classless and inappropriate behavior but she wasn't physically attacked at all.

I swear I HATE myself for even thinking this, but it does have a fake feel to it. Her hands are feet are cleaner and better kept up than mine.

Lets be honest the whole point of this video was for one political party to say "hey look how sh*tty that other political party is. Don't pretend you actually care about that woman. " Anyone feel like going out, and helping the homeless after watching this? Nope? That's what I thought.......

@sophia89: I think what he was saying (and what I interpreted it as), is that many people are just using this for a political point. And that's kinda obvious in an election, but tactics like this have become even more apparent in this one sadly. That doesn't mean that there aren't those that legitimately care about this woman's well-being, it's just that many others really don't.

@judasnixon: Treating homeless like trash is a horrid thing, regardless of party affiliation. Of course I care, they're treating a disadvantaged person like trash for their opinion. People obviously cared, as she's getting lots of social media attention, which led to her getting actual help for her situation.

Anyone feel like going out, and helping the homeless after watching this? Nope? That's what I thought.......

I volunteer at a soup kitchen and hand out supplies to local homeless every few months, especially during the winter. Being in a financially situation is something I can sympathize with. Don't assume "no one cares", because the situation was somewhat political.

If I ever came across someone such as this and I possessed the means to, I certainly would assist her. I have numerous times.

But since you are inside everyone's head and know what we all will and won't do, I'll keep to myself.
