So many diehard fans would highball the crap out of their favorite character just so that their character would win in VS Battle all at the same time (not everyone does it) lowball the other character. Which do you think is more annoying?
Highball VS Lowball (Which is more annoying)
Depends on three things.
1. The characters being lowballed/highballed
2. The length of the argument
3. The source of their lowball/highball
Both are annoying because both have their origin on hype.
X movie comes out. Hype is through the roof, this character is highballed because people enjoyed the movie and that character is lowballed because they want this character they liked in this movie to win.
And i talk about movies because that's where 99% of these situations occur.
For me, it's highballing. Lowballing my own character is fine because I am more knowledgeable on him than the lowballer so I can easily tear his argument apart with backed up evidence and consistency. However, when someone highballs his own character, there is nothing you can do but tell him how he posts absurd feats, which is even more annoying when they are not taken out of context. They are just outliers.
Lowball
This.
High-balling means that you are just overselling your favourite character.
Low-balling: not only are you demeaning the character in question, but you're also being disrespectful towards the user you are debating with, you are essentially accusing him/her of lying.
A person who continuously highballs is just a fanboy.
A person who continuously lowballs is a right asshole.

Get you a man who can do both.
Wait are those his balls??? lmao
Lowballing because you can just ignore a person who highballs since he's just a fanboy, lowballing sometimes makes you want to grab that users head and shake them until they're reasonable again.
Lowball. Highballing because you love a verse is more understandable, but lowballing a verse because you hate it is offensive to fans of that specific verse, because if you dislike that verse you should at least give a fair evaluation and not trash on an entire verse just for not liking it.
Either way we should be as little biased as possible.

I think highballing is fine, everyone has extreme moments where they do things they normally don't. Lowballed feats are usually just done for plot reasons and are easily dismissable.
Lowballing is more annoying if you're reading a debate as with Lowballing it's annoying when people dismiss impressive showings but with highballing you know they are exaggerating and can dismiss them as a fanboy.
Highballing is more annoying in a debate though because lowballing is easier to counter.
Lowballing is disrespectful. At least with pure highballing it's hyping their guy up rather than tearing your guy down.
Whichever one is more absurd. "DD adapts and solos zeno (not memeing)" is more annoying than something like "dbz characters haven't surpassed light speed". On the other side "Moon level mcu Thanos" isnt as annoying as "Rock level goku gg"

The worst are the people that highball their characters and lowball everyone else in every debate.
Both are equally annoying. Lowball can be considered worse considering the counter arguments.
Highball is annoying as well. Putting Arrowverse street level heroes up against 616 and Post Crisis Heroes is disgusting.
