20,000 Leagues Under the Sea is my favourite story from either author, so Vernes takes it for me.

Incidentally, I am currently reading The Island of Doctor Moreau.

Both are great. But Jules Verne for me. I read (I think) all his published novels, with some (almost) first editions (books printed in the early 1900s).

To see that my kids started to read him (in English...) make me particularly happy.

I don't have this kind of "relationship" with H.G.
