Who's your favorite comic character (or second favorite if #1 is Deathstroke)? Melkor (LotR)
Favorite comic movie? The Dark Knight. But, thats a generic answer so I'll say my second favorite, Batman Begins.
Favorite non-comic movie? Does Lord of the Rings: Return of the King count as a non-comic movie? If so, thats my answer.
Favorite video game? Gears of War is my favorite Game Series. If I was forced to pick one game and not a series I would say Assassins Creed: revelations. Whats yours?
Favorite TV Show (of all time)? BTAS or JLU. I can't decide.
Favorite TV Show (currently airing)? Game of Thrones. Would've been Arrow two weeks ago, lol.
Who would you cast as Deathstroke in a movie? Liam Neeson if he could be more buff, otherwise, Stephen Lang.
Least favorite comic movie? IM3.... *shivers*
Excited for X-Men: Days of Future Past? Hells yeah. You?
Are you getting annoyed by the questions I'm asking? No, sir. I like them.
@dark_vengeance_: Wow, he looks way more bad@$$ than I thought, now I'm even more excited xD.
@reaperonyx: Nope. My stroke causes death. I'm also Death's troker (yes, troker is a word. Google it). And I'm named after Deathstroke, ask his creators if he does that. Lol.
@shadowswordmaster: Sorry, I missed your post earlier. And unfortunately, no I do not.
@JetiiMitra: Your a meanie pants, worse than a bully. :p
I would like some! But I don't care for chamomile, I had some for the first time a few weeks back... *shivers* It was disgusting. I would like some sweet tea though! *holds out glass for pouring*
@dragonborn_ct: Did he ever actually show up in the books? As in him actually physically being somewhere?
I mean, it seems like they're going to expand on the white walkers story a little bit more, but I still see it being another few seasons until we actually see Him.
@The_Deathstroker: He hasn't appeared in the books yet, he was only mentioned during one of Melissandre's visions where she identifies him the White Walker's God and leader, something so terrible his name must not be spoken. From the way she speaks of him, he is barely even human-like, almost like an ball of darkness and ancient evil. My theory is that he is in fact an Ice Dragon and currently imprisioned either under the Wall and is commanding his servants to find a way to release him so he can set the entire world under eternal winter.
@The_Deathstroker: To answer your questions, my favorite video game is either Mass Effect or Mass Effect 2 (can't decide). And I am excited for Days of Future Past, but I'm trying to keep my excitement down to keep myself from getting disappointed with it.
More questions:
How come Iron Man 3 is your least favorite? I didn't like it either, but I'm just surprised you rank it that low.
Why did you change the title of the thread to "Hear me Roar"?
What comics do you buy monthly (if any)?
What do you think of the Tim Burton Batman movies?
If you don't like them, what didn't you like about them?
Karl Urban as Batman. What do you think of this idea?
What'd you think of Batman Beyond?
How did you get so many people commenting on this thread so early?
@dragonborn_ct: I never thought about it, but that idea does seem very possible.
I think he's not even a regular dragon, but something like a god/mega dragon. You know what I'm saying?
Yep I know exactly what you are saying. He would be much like Alduin, the main antagonist of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. To elaborate, in that game Alduin was king of the dragons, and while he looked pretty much like one, he was not like any normal dragon. He is an inconceivably ancient and eternal entity, being the Nordic aspect of the personification of Time and his purpose is to devour the world so that a new one can be created. He was practically worshipped as a God and he can back it up by the fact he cannot be killed. Even when the Dragonborn defeats him in the final battle, its pointed out that all s/he managed to do was to destroy his body, his soul still exists and he will reform himself in time, albeit it will take centuries. Besides he still needs to fullfill his duty as World-Eater, so their victory is pretty much temporary.
I don't know if Martin will go that direction, but I would certainly love if the Great Other was an ice dragon. It would made the perfect foil to Daenerys' dragons too. For one, I will hate if he is made a unseen ball of darkness, cause I hate those types of villains :v
@dragonborn_ct: That's exactly what I was basing my concept of him off of, I love Skyrim.
And yeah, agreed. I hope he does do something like this or at least make him a God-like humanoid because a giant unseen sphere would just be stupid. And they shouldn't show him right away, they should have rumors going around about his "awakening" and that a part of the wall was completely destroyed for an unknown cause and stuff like that. Then have rumors of him defeating/massacring some group, and THEN introduce him in physical form and slowly start to show him doing more actions.
That's what I think they should do with him. Kind of like what the did with the White Walkers, and how their return just started as a rumor, to then people speaking of them attacking people, etc.
