Which one of these actors do you feel have had the better overall career ? Is it Harrison Ford or Tom Cruise ?
Harrison Ford vs Tom Cruise
Tom Cruise is much much much more entertaining actor than Harrison Ford. Though I will take my hat off for the Indiana Jones movies, however the Mission Impossible trilogy was better in my eyes.
No, Tom can't beat that, besides the mission imposible movies rely more on the visual effects than in cruise performance or iconic succes.

Haha, well said apparition. oh and.. i have to say He is for me the most famous and acclaimed child molestor.

Hum.. you're right, i forgot about that one. anyway it was just a lousy joke. I clearly see your vote is for Tom.

This was circulating during the last CA gubernatorial election. I think it pretty much says it all:

Honestly, while Tom has had some highlights as a dramatic actor (Magnolia), Ford has had the better overall career. Plus Ford has something Cruise never will: Class.

Damn Straight !

"King Saturn says:"Which one of these actors do you feel have had the better overall career ? Is it Harrison Ford or Tom Cruise ?"Tom Cruise."
Ford: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, The Fugitive, Blade Runner, Gunsmoke, American Graffiti, The Mod Squad, Kung-Fu, Apocalypse Now,
Patriot Games, Clear And Present Danger, Presumed Innocent, Air Force One, What Lies Beneath...
Cruise: Why bother, he's alright but none of them measure up to Fords credentials.
"Harrison Ford, by a landslide. That being said, I think Tom Cruise has a pretty damn good career, but to compare to Indiana Jones and Han Solo, you've gotta be somebody extraordinary. "
This....not to mention the President from Air Force One...Lieutenant Colonel Mike Barnsby , Rick Deckard, jack Ryan, and the dude from Firewall. That's some srious a$$kiking.
I vote Ford for reasons that have been pretty well outlined above but I do think Ford's 80's movies get sort of overlooked and his acting in those. imo his best acting was all done in the 70's/80's. After that he became sort of stale and boring and his movies became pretty cliche.
- Both are great and i,m a big fan of both.
- But the edge goes to Tom Cruise becuase he has consistently shown himself to be the superior actor,Action Star and overall entertainer...This manz is one of the hardest working actors in the business hands down.
- Exhibit A..lmao
Tom Cruise can actually act.
Harrison Ford just makes stupid looking faces.

The answer to this specific question is obviously Tom Cruise. The dude has been in more movies, is much more of a household name, has probably made double over his life than Ford, and is still acting in films to this day. I know Harrison is as well, but he's gonna retire soon.
As far as who the better actor is in terms of skill, I'd still probably go with Cruise. I mean, I prefer Harrison by a lot, but honestly, Tom just has much more versatility. He's a total nutcase, though...
Harrison Ford
Ford, he has three world renown movies under his belt (Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Blade Runner). while Cruise has one that I know of (Mission Impossible). Not to mention the fact that both me and my parents think he is a great actor, and for different reasons/roles. That should speak for itself.
