Sounds like you got a crush, just talk to her. You dont have to ask her out right away, just say hi and strike up a conversation and take it from there.

Ideally you could say hi to her when she is with them, it would show confidence and you dont have to stick around and talk, it doesn't hurt if her friends think you seem nice too. Although if you are shy maybe you shouldn't risk embarassment. Otherwise I guess you'll just have to find a time where she is alone, just dont follow her around - that might scare her. Alternatively you could always check if she has a facebook or something and add her on there, if she is remotely interested in you she will accept and you can say hi there and then she might take the first step in school (I assume you go to school?) or at least make it easier for you. If she asks just tell her you saw her in the "people near me" suggestions and you wanted to say hi, show her that you have noticed her.

LOL Cut that self-righteous drivel. Some people enjoying getting advice from people they don't know, and frankly, people like @bruxae and @wildvine have given good, sensible advice.

Just ask if she like you or whatever, you don't even have to ask her out or anything. The school years almost over and your still in I assume 8th grade. You can get away with that without getting teased and if for some reason you do, it's only going to be at worse until the end of the year. If you really don;t want be upfront about, just show that you at least have a passing interest in her.

Indeed that their advice is sensible but are we in the level to give advice to someone with regard to this subject? We do not know the whole story yet, hell the OP might be making this things out or withholding necessary info (no offense Stealth).
