I actually taped the end of Monday Night RAW tonight while HBK gave his Farewell Speech... the WWE is really gonna miss The Heartbreak Kid... not just because he was an amazing talent... but because currently the WWE dont have many wrestlers that can keep you interested in watching anymore... I mean outside of The Undertaker, Randy Orton, Triple H and maybe Batista or Shelton Benjamin... I really dont give a damn about the WWE anymore...
Yeah, I hope he has a great life with his kids and wife. Him, The Rock and Stone Cold will always be my favorite wrestlers. I used to check wwe.com occassionally in the past few years, but now I doubt I'll be going on it. I think the WWE is going to come to an end soon. I can't see HHH staying for that much longer as long with other vets, but maybe the new generation will keep it alive, who knows. He was the one of the greatest entertainers ever, not just in wrestling, ever.
Shawn Michaels had been my favorite for wrestler since about 94' or so. An amazing, unbelievably versatile worker with a high amount of charisma and athleticism. The Showstopper indeed
Even more amazing was having him comeback in 2002 from a seemingly career ending injury to add even more to what was already an amazing career. He will certainly be missed. Thank you, Shawn. I'll still have the DVDs, but one day I hope to meet him
I wonder if this is really the end for Shawn Michaels though... I mean a couple of years ago Ric Flair supposedly retired from Wrestling... and yet here he is now in TNA... who is to say maybe a year from now or so... HBK wont be back ?

He will probably be back after a while. I don't expect him to be actually wrestling as much, but perhaps will take on a GM position. I think it would be a pretty cool situation if they had him and Bret Hart each have a GM position on different shows. Seems like it would be interesting.
I really enjoyed watching those clips of him in the 90's, made me remember just how good he was.
But, now his back is pretty well FUBAR. He can still pull out an excellent match, like the one in WM26 vs Undertaker, but they were further and further between.
I started calling him the Heart Attack Kid over the last few months. It was a good send off. He was great, but all things end. He chose a good time to move one, while he could still put out a good match.
A lot of the guys who used to wrestle should have spots on the show. HBK, Austin, these guys still have the skill with promos and whatnot, they just have doomed bodies. Don't have them wrestle, but they should be invovled as GM's or some other way back stage.
Too bad. Once I knew that the match between him and the Undertaker was on, I knew it was over for his career. I stopped watching and caring about wrestling, but HBK was my idol back in the day.

The went out on loses for their main WWE career, yes they made appearances but they had no major role on storyline development.
