Is it me or is Going to The Dentist one of the most dreadful things you have to do in life ? What do you think about Going To The Dentist ?

Its one of the most terrifying moments in life to hear the sound of the drill in your mouth.

I love going to the dentist. Those tasty chemicals they tell you not to swallow but sometimes you swallow it anyway........

I absolutely dread the dentist...the thought of lying there with my mouth propped open and everyone looking up my nose...gah...i'm far too vain for that

LOL. They should have never made that horror movie The Dentist. That movie comes into my mind everytime I go to The Dentist now.

I've never heard of it and from the title of it i dont want to....i absolutely dread going to the dentist...they should be required to give you knock out gas for every procedure...even a teeth cleaning...i hate that place like whoa

I can't say that I hate it. I like it when someone takes care of my teeth.

glad I cant afford the dentist right now, last year I paid to get drilled in the mouth more then Paris Hilton! Ahhhh, that is officially my dental pun.

It was never a big deal for me. I had a really nice dentist as a kid and I worked with my hygienist when I volunteered at the SPCA. Really nice people and we would have some really great conversations. My dentist was also one of the one's that travels to third world countries to do free dental work of kids. He'd always bring back cool stuff to show me.

Now, the orthodontist on the other hand, that was a pain in the butt to go too. He was grumpy, made me wear braces for 2 years and lied about how long my glued in retainers behind my teeth have to stay. (He said it would only be 3 years, BS... It's been almost 6 years now and I still have the friggin' things glued in. Pain in the butt to try and floss with them)

My teeth were never really that bad. I only got braces because I had a genetic gap between my front teeth and the orthodontist wanted to move my jaw a couple millimeters forward so that my teeth lined up perfectly.

um... I like going to the dentist, i've never have a cavity before so, I guess thats why, lol.

Oohhh, ouch. I've only ever had... I think 2 cavities. I think my teeth are fine. The only thing I would most definitely change about them is to somehow get rid of the white spots on my 2 top front teeth (fell out of a wagon when I was 2, got a mouth full of gravel and damaged my permanent teeth)... the only way to really fix that though is veneers.

I had only a couple of cavaties but I still hate the Dentist. That drill sound and when you see those objects in your mouth are scary to me.
