Which one?
Go to hell for a second or walk 1000 miles
Don't know what hell looks like assuming it exists but I don't wanna take my chances so I might walk.
Walk...definitely walk. It's a fantastic workout physically and mentally. Also, OP never said 1000 miles non-stop.
obviously hell
since hell doesn't exist nothing would happen to me and I don't even have to do anything basically
but if you think that something will happen to you:
One sends me to hell for a second, the other will send to me hell forever before I'm done, so do the math.
Hell, easily, it's only for a second.
But according to the data, one second in hell is like one day.
id walk
@masterdiamond: I was gonna say hell because it was only a second, but after what you said, I think I'll walk.

That's a wise decision. In Lucifer, time works differently in Hell than on Earth. For example, a few seconds on Earth was the same as a couple of years in Hell. That's scary to think about, tbh.
If time in Hell works the same as in real life, I could just close my eyes and choose one second in Hell.
Not sure how time works in Hell. I don't want to say "yeah one second is nothing" and get stuck for a few years because time moves different there.
So I'll just walk the 1000 miles.
Time works differently in Hell, right?
I was thinking the same thing...especially if Hell is supposed to be torturous. A second'd probably feel like a lifetime...

Why would it? People stuck there are supposed to be stuck there "forever". Time moving faster there, adds nothing to the torture.
Besides, time is inherently relative. 1 second in a hypothetical, should be 1 second relative to YOUR time. Otherwise, what's the point? If we're gonna go "b-but, 1 second can mean hours or months or years" then it's an arbitrary number that gives us no details for comparison.
LOL, are you using physics and logic for something conceptual like Hell? Like, the entire existence of it would go against the laws or our reality (I'd figure)...
But, I was speaking on the OP...We'd only been down there for a second in our reality. A blink of an eye, we'd logically only be able to get a blurred image of red and a jolt of fire and brimstone. But, it'd probably squeeze a lifetimes worth of torment into that second...
But hey, I'm not of a religion that actually believed in a Hell. So, I wouldn't know...LOL

As far as I know the deeper you go into the seven circles of hell the more time and place get distorted
@superstay: I’m not sure what you mean by “physics“ since nothing particularly physics related was brought up. Yes, I’m applying logic to a hypothetical... what else are we supposed to do? If a hypothetical question cannot be thought about logically, then there’s no point in asking said hypothetical in the first place.
If the question specifies 1 second, then we can only assume that they mean 1 second relative to our perception, else it becomes an arbitrary detail that gives us nothing to aid in comparison.
Assuming time works the same, Hell for a second, for sure. I would love to check out what it's like anyway.
@zetsu-san: I'm just saying it would be kinda pointless to apply our physical rules of reality on something as supernatural and conceptually as Hell. It's like trying to make Magic fit in nature. It wasn't really meant to, in the first place.
In our reality, a second is a second. But, Hell already twists everything else. I mean, it's supposed to be a harsh and freezing place. Yet, it bares a eternal flame. One, which isn't physically hot, but spiritually scorching. So, I wouldn't doubt that Hell would mess with time...especially it is only effecting your soul, and not your physical. It'd be like a second-long day dream that leaves 100 years worth of damage on your soul.....maybe

@hydratedfubuki6: @feral_nova: @sar_annihilator: @gdara: @escrow: @thewatcherking: @superstay: @superstay: @mrblackdragon: @akz:in the movie event horizon, just being in hell was enough to make the whole crew poke their eyes out, mutilate each other and have orgies (not the ones you want). Who knows what advancements they have in hell that you would find impossible on earth, since human language is very limited. Maybe just by listening to the language spoken there for even a second, you could feel pain worse than 100x all the pain ever felt on earth.

Yikes!
@mrblackdragon: i mean idk ive never been there but it is hell
Walk. No one said I can't stop to rest.
Seeing Hell would be good for scientific purposes, but no one would believe me without evidence I was there. Plus, even one second could be enough to see something I can't un-see, and get traumatized for life. Overall, not worth it.
@mrblackdragon You came back
@mrblackdragon Ye, glad you're back. Why did you deactivate?

Well... Due to educational purposes, this site was distracting me. I always think about debating on this site for some reason, during my work studies and during my sleep. I decided to deactivate the account for the time being. Since I have passed my classes with expected grades at the end of the year, I decided to reward myself for my efforts. That reward being debating on Comic-Vine again. Hopefully, this doesn't occur in the future again.
