Gamer-Gate started as something quite small, and blew up into something else. It got so bad that Gamer-Gate were accused of being domestic terrorists. The whole thing is a mess, too hard to really flesh out and explain. It got big once the Feminists joined in.

Nah, mate. The narrative was squashed a long time ago.
