Yeah. No bullsh!t. I went the gunshop the other day with some friends. The gunsmith and a police officer was there to explain the laws of gun ownership in Georgia. Rifles (shotguns, assault, hunting) only require you to be 18 to own them, without license or registration. You can have them in your car, but they have to be visible from three sides so the police can see them if they pull you over (I think that is bull, because people would steal the gun from your car if they saw it). Thing is, for asault rifles, they have to remain single shot ot burst fire, depending on the gun. Setting it to automatic, which isn't difficult, is a felony. And, putting a suppressor on it, or modifying it any other way is also a felony."

While that is a horrible, horrible thing, I couldn't help but chuckle :("

Nah, not that .44 magnum. use the weird one that's semiautomatic.

Anyways, I'd prefer an M1911 over a .44 Magnum anyways, because the M1911 is .45 caliber (comparable stopping power), and it's semiautomatic. That .44 magnum is a revolver, so he has to cock the hammer every time before he shoots (that fanning or whatever it's called where you hold the gun at your hip and just shoot and use your hand to pull the hammer back really fast is bull, and you wouldn't be able to hit the blob if he were standing 5 feet away without being extremely lucky with that method.
