@just_sayin: Yeah context is important, that's why reporters are supposed to be there, not co-hosts of a pageant that grab women by the kitty, are any of those female reporters grabbing men by the glocks? You can't say that he didn't grab them by the Kitty because he even said that he did. Now what do you have to say about that?

The lady reporter is there for business reasons; like the owner of a beauty pageant would be behind the scenes at his pageant.

As if we really didn't know already, this is even more proof that The Very Stable Genius is an idiot puppet. He's even sometimes against the bills they're making him sign but they keep him around, give him a TV and a Twitter account and tell him exactly what to do.

We are past the point of the 25th Amendment. Congress and Trump's own staff are in cahoots to keep him under control to sign the bills they want signed. Is this not a form of sedition?

"contradictory and seemingly misinformed tweets from President Trump questioning his administration’s support for the program." Why be so generous? he clearly understands nothing, and just parrots whatever nonsense he watched on Fox during his "executive time". The Republicans will pay the price for allowing this to continue. It's obvious that they are putting up with a know nothing traitorous con-man simply because they know he will sign any piece of garbage they put in front of him.

@just_sayin:

Economists surveyed by The Wall Street Journal say President Donald Trump has had generally positive effects on U.S. economic growth, hiring and the performance of the stock market during his first year in office.

The professional forecasters also predicted 2018 would see solid growth and a continued decline in the jobless rate. One factor: the tax cuts signed into law by Mr. Trump in December, which most economists say will boost the economy for several years at least.

More broadly, most forecasters surveyed by the Journal suggested Mr. Trump’s election deserves at least some credit for the economy’s recent strength.

Yeah Trump!

The economic numbers are mostly a result of the policies that Obama put into place already, are we in Trumps fiscal year yet? Even if we were to give Dumpf any credit at all what about this give's Dumps the right to operate above the law? If these policies are so sound they should be able to stand on their own without even having him there any longer (e.g. Obama care), which means we wouldn't have to sacrifice the rule of law just to keep someone in office. I'm not saying Mueller has anything on Trump or not, I don't know what he has, but if it turns out that everything people have been saying about Trump is true, would you want to keep him in office? I only ask because some Republicans are saying that even if it's true he should stay in office.

Malcolm Nance actually summed up the Nixon analogy nicely. When you think about it, the DNC hack was Watergate 2.0 with Putin's henchmen playing the part of Nixon's plumbers.

Trump knows he's in trouble. He's just skirted the law and skated so successfully his entire life that he thinks he's Boris the Bullet Dodger. With Banana Republicans going after Mueller for him, he's feeling particularly confident at the moment.

The fundamental question in Watergate was: “What did the president know and when did he know it?” This is also the fundamental question in Russiagate. The Donald doesn’t deny that he knew what was going on. He simply says nothing happened. He is not even using the Reagan defense in the Iran-Contra scandal. Reagan said he could not remember ordering an arms for hostages deal. Since he died from Alzheimer’s disease, he was probably being truthful..

I am amazed at the level of our group think. I just showed you evidence where a majority of economists say that Trump has had a positive effect on the economy's growth and you claim that Obama should be credited for Trump's economic policies. Its like you are hard wired to disbelieve anything that isn't in line with liberal thinking. It reminds me of when @willpayton was reflexively defending the racism of liberals as GOOD racism.

I'm not claiming that I'm any better. I'm more likely to look for reasons to give Trump the benefit of the doubt in sexual harassment allegations than I am for liberals. I can with ease see how immoral and self-righteous your views are. And I'm sure you feel the same way about me.

^I think we had this conversation too at some point, there are so many reasons why you are wrong about this, but I digress, and don't want to change the topic of conversation. The only reason why I quoted those economic numbers is that Obama's numbers were actually better percentage wise Trump is in third place and he got handed a stable and good economy. Say what you will but Obama was the right man at the right time for the job at hand and I feel he did what was needed to stabilize the economy.

All I was asking is that if this economic progress as you say has a backbone it would survive under any executive, Trump wants you to believe that he's the solution to all of his problems as he has expressed so many times. He said " I am the only one that can solve your problems" if you really believe this I feel sorry for you, I'd like to think you are different from the other Trumpets because you seem level headed. Could you please answer my hypothetical question though, I asked if Trump was found guilty of the things that he is being investigated for would you ask for him to step aside? There are some Republicans that don't care and still would want him to stay in office, I hope you are not of that same ilk.

I just don't think racism is ever appropriate. I know that liberals like to justify their racism. I just think racism, whether on the right or left, is wrong. Admission policies that discriminate against someone because he is white or Asian are simply wrong and harm the person who was deprived entry into college. To deny someone a job who is more qualified because he is white is racism too. Try the shoe on the other foot test. If someone denied someone a job who was more qualified who was black, would that be racist? Yep, it would.

Liberals seem to me to be blind to the racism of "white privilege" too. To take a general set of group characteristics and project them upon an individual of a group is the very definition of racism. It assumes all white people have the same experience - which is silly. A rich white movie star's kid has more in common with Beyonce's kid than a poor white kid from Appalachia. Further, "white privilege" suggests that their is a victim class and that whites either caused this because they are inherently racist or have allowed it to happen - either way - whites are the oppressor and non-whites are the victim - and hence the good guys. This is anti-white racism pure and simple.

You know I grew up in what was said to be the poorest county in the US. I'd say it was the poorest town, but my town was too poor to incorporate. I lived in an old single wide trailer with broken windows and my mom struggled to pay the mortgate. I didn't have a winter coat growing up and I still didn't consider myself poor like my neighbors. If white privilege was real thing, they weren't selling it where I grew up. I know I'd have looked for it in the Piggly Wiggly if I could (we were too poor to have a Wal-Mart). Hell, we would have bummed a ride over to the big city, Grundy, and bought us some of that white privilege at the Wal-Mart if we knew it existed.

I've always wondered when liberal SJW go on about White Privilege - exactly what privileges are exclusively white. Do you know? I don't. A lot of what I see are class privileges or the majority group privilege, but not really anything that is exclusively "white" about the privileges. I think this is another area where liberals have embraced racism.

Changing gears, you asked about if I would support impeaching Trump if he was tried. I guess it depends where the trial is. If it is in the media, no, I wouldn't. In a court of law? Yeah.

@just_sayin: If you really care about racism so much, why don't you ask Trump to do something about the rise in hate crimes and hate groups? That's an easy target there , but he never mentions that.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Engraving of the poem presented at the New England Holocaust Memorial in Boston, Massachusetts.

"First they came ..." is a poem written by German Lutheran pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984). It is about the cowardice of German intellectuals following the Nazis' rise to power and subsequent purging of their chosen targets, group after group. Many variations and adaptations in the spirit of the original have been published in the English language. It deals with themes of persecution, guilt and responsibility.

The best-known versions of the speech are the poems that began circulating by the 1950s.[1] The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum quotes the following text as one of the many poetic versions of the speech:[2]

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—

Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—

Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—

Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

There can be no question left in the mind of decent Americans that Donald J. Trump is a racist and a despicable subhuman being. In his next life, as karmic justice, Trump will come back as a maggot subsisting on excrement in one of the countries that he condemns.
