Check out every Jesus movie too. Atleast they're moving away from white Jesus though with Haaz Sleiman and Cliff Curtis.

Great film...

He may be akin to Bryan Cranston in the sense that he can just shock people with his transformations. A Jesus role would be good for exposure. Think that's him at 1:22

Egyptians have been shown to have come in every shade, just like "black" people. Egypt and Arabia were invaded by the Turkish Ottoman empire 1000 years ago. The physical characteristics are pretty diverse, just like the rest of the people in Africa.

And olives come in the colors green and black.

If you do your research you find that the typical Arab is what you'd call a black person. Speaking arabic and living in an islamic nation does not automatically mean that person is what a typical Arab looked like centuries ago. The vast majority of people living on the Arabian peninsula have some Turkish heritage, due to the Turkish Ottoman empire, as well as any other people who lived in that area which includes arabs among other people groups. Some Arabs are still pretty black but usually the arabs shown on TV or media are pretty light-skinned since the majority of arabians are now pretty light-skinned.

I just wanted to get people's opinions on what they thought, whether it's based on facts or not. There's a few Egyptian pharohs that look black, but Egyptologists claim they were some form of a "white race" or something like that. That's the mainstream view which I find is pretty odd.

I think if they were indeed black or at least some of them were then mainstream Egyptologist should acknowledge that. Imo there is nothing silly about that.

There is no conclusive evidence if they were or not. It becomes even more complicated with the fact that the Egyptians and Nubians were constantly trying to take each other over. I believe they had Nubians as rulers for a single dynasty but it's safer to assume they were "multi-ethnic".

@cloakx14: read his post very carefully, nowhere in there did he say she was white, you put the words in his mouth and made yourself a nice little strawman. He'said saying she wasn't black, that's not the same as saying she was white, there are many other ethnicities besides those two.

Edit: just read his newest post, so I guess he is saying she was white.
