Statistically, there should be at least one other planet out there that supports life (I don't remember the numbers but Earth's conditions [right amount of oxygen, right temperature range, water, etc] is about one in a million [random number, don't remember] and going off of the number of stars there are and average number of planets per star, etc there is something like a billion planets out there [again, random number but I remember that it was a lot bigger than the last number]).
However, in order to visit Earth, these extra-terrestrials would have to be advanced enough to have some sort of transportation capable of traveling through-out space at a high enough speed and enough supplies to get here without dying. The nearest star is something like 29 light-years away and scientifically speaking, I believe it is impossible for an object with mass to travel at light speed because of Einstein's theory of relativity, not to mention finding us. (As speed increases, distance between the moving object and it's destination decreases, time for the moving object increases, and mass increases. If mass increases as speed increases then you need more and more force to get the desired acceleration until you need an infinite amount of force to accelerate up to light-speed, it's impossible.)
It's possible.
