If you're pro-life, think about it for a second.

If I understand the situation, a 10 year old was raped by an illegal immigrant. She could have gotten an abortion in her state but went to another state instead. Nobody brought forth proof that any of it happened for a while until just recently so that's been a whole mess.
If the girl's life was threatened then it can be justified.
Obviously! If abortions are banned then the government should pay the finances required to raise a kid for an unwanted child.
@unworried: It's disgusting that some people in the comment section of the video is against her getting an abortion even though she didn't ask to be rape and impregnated, and this would be a life and death situation with a higher chance of her and the baby dying due to how underdeveloped she is. This makes me sad.
a bit strange that the rape wasn't even reported until after the abortion. Like three weeks after the rape. I guess that's the type of morality that's to be expected of modern doctors though.
Also legally, the girl did not have to cross state lines. There are exceptions in Ohio that would have allowed her to get an abortion.
Yes. This is an awful situation to even think about let alone to know it has happened. Circumstances here dictate the need for medical procedure.
Funnily enough, more and more information is coming out about how both the girl's family and the doctor who performed the abortion have tried to knowingly protect the child rapist.
I think her life would have been at stake so there's no way to allow this pregnancy to come to term; how did this get so deep into her pregnancy when this should have been reported and checked immediately afterwards? But no justification under any scenario for this being done to a 10 year old girl so it's not even a way to entertain a question such as this one (e.g. unfortunately, I can relate to this being 5 when something like this happened to me); remembering what Jesus said about harming children.
I'm Pro-Life except in the following circumstances: When the mum's life is at risk, when the mum has been raped, in cases of incest.
The mother’s life is always at risk. Giving birth is an intense and invasive procedure that can be potentially life threatening, no matter what. Complications can and do happen, regardless of whether or not the doctors find an underlying health condition.
The baby can grow too big, requiring a C section. The mother can have a blood clot, heart attack, or stroke. The hormonal changes can lead to excessive weight gain, diabetes, or severe depression.
There is no such thing as a completely safe pregnancy.

Giving birth should not be thought of as an 'invasive' procedure. It takes two to tango. The foetus, you and I both know, has half the dad's DNA and half the mum's DNA. The culture and attitude about sex nowadays in rich Western countries is just to have sex without thinking about the responsibilities that come along with having sex. There are couples who use contraceptives and safety measures in rich Western countries, but there are many couples who do not. One night stands and teen pregnancies are very high in occurrence nowadays. Some people should stop and think carefully before having sex. Sex has the important thing in that it creates new life, and that new life is formed when the sperm fertilizes the egg in my opinion. If the mum thinks of pregnancy as an invasive procedure, then she should've thought carefully before having sex in the first place. No, I'm not singling out mums, both men and women need to think and act responsibly before having sex. In my opinion, pregnancy is not an invasive procedure. Pregnancy becomes invasive if the mum has been raped, because rape removes consent and her bodily autonomy has been denied. However, if the sex is consensual and the woman becomes pregnant, then pregnancy is not invasive.
Yes, my mum struggled a bit in giving birth to me and I was a forceps baby, in that the medical team (I think it was a doctor) had to use forceps to deliver me properly. My mum got some long-term birth complications from my birth. But if you ask her if me being in her womb was invasive or if she regrets giving birth to me, she will laugh at the question and she will of course be glad that I was born and she would have no regrets with how the birth went. Also, even after those complications, she still gave birth to my sister 9 years later and the birth went fine. As to your point on giving birth being 'intense', my mum would say that the births were not intense if you asked her. However, I know that every woman is different and that there are women who find giving birth intense, but not all of them do. My maternal grandma didn't think giving birth was intense either. When thinking about birth, people need to think about the bigger picture, the end result. Yes, births worldwide can become a bit complicated, like my mum's, but if you have a safe birth and the baby and the mum turned out more or less fine, then that's the best end result. The man and woman who have sex should know the risks that come along with pregnancy and birth, it's the responsibility of the man and woman to think these things through.
Yes, women who give birth in circumstances of difficult poverty or who have had their consent taken away from them are in a different situation, the possibility of abortion should be open to them for logical reasons. But if you're a woman who has had all the information available to them and had all the time in the world and options in the world to think carefully before having sex and then you regret the sex and now want to have an abortion because you feel the living being inside your womb is invasive then I'm sorry but that is a living being in your womb and you will be denied abortion unless the situation is deemed to be dangerous by doctors. I don't think it's right for a woman to abort a being in the womb which is almost at full-term, especially when the doctors in their minds think that the being could become a healthy baby if birth happened. Giving birth is not as dangerous as it used to be, medicine has improved a lot and facilities have improved a lot for pregnant mums. What would you say about my grandma who gave birth to eight healthy babies with no complications and who lived in a Third World country, Ceylon, with not excellent medical facilities? Some people use abortion as a type of contraceptive and that is wrong. I agree with you that there is no such thing as a completely safe pregnancy, but healthcare has improved a lot and many births turn out fine. You might disagree with me but it is what it is. Yes, there are cases when abortion is acceptable, but there are cases when abortion is unacceptable. It's just my opinion and I respect your opinion. If I change my mind on the issue then I'll let you know because I'm open to changing my mind on this complicated issue.
I only find it justifiable when the pregnancy is caused by rape/and or incest.
Abortion is always justified.
Abortion is alwaya justified.
I disagree with the murder of children, born or unborn.
