I kinda like it.

# Do you like or hate Math?

Math is for nerds. Now if you'll excuse me I need to write a paragraph explaining why Spider-Man is clearly a better fighter than Batman.

*basic math ( adding, subtracting, multiplication, division ) I like and is very useful and I like it... but I hate all that tricky dicky stuff that you learn in higher math classes but never use again.*I really hate math. Seriously, why do we need to learn stuff like... graphing? I know it's part of our education, but all we need to use in our lives is adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing. Heck, I forgot what I learned in math from last year.

i like practical math, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and long division, basic algebra, so basically everything we learned in middle school, what i don't like is the useless math like the math that they force you to learn in high school, where, unless you're gonna be a scientist or math teacher, it has no practical use at all, when will i ever need the pythagorean theorem in everyday life??

I absolutely love algebra. I used to do pages for fun in school when I finished the lesson. Such an amazing way to go about it. Beautiful.

### I like math. I majored in it for 2 years, and was averaging a 3.8 for my math courses only. The university studying for math is annoying though, and barely none of my friends were in the same field so I changed my field of study (also the employment rate for the degree I was pursuing was really low, so yeah).

### Still read and study math, but on my own terms and time. I hate being tested on it at school, and doing assignments and sh~t, you know. I don't think that's what math is about.

@Sexy Mercsaid:@difficlus:## Psychology now, lol.

there's money there but...doesn't that mean you have to go back to square 1 and basically start university over again? o.O

### Nah, most of my electives for the first 2 years were psych-related, so when I started this year, I was either right behind or at the level of most other 3rd year psych students.

Ok, I love it/hate it depending on the ones I went through. Here goes!

I like:

- Algebra
- Trigonometry
- Elementary Analysis (aka Calculus)
- Algorithm study
- Mathematical Method for Computational Science
- Numerical Methods

I hate:

- Statistics
- Probability Theory
- Logic Design
- Mathematical Method for Operations Research

I hate Math; mostly because i'm not good at it but more so because I can't find a practical use for most of it.

Meh,that's my reaction.I was terrible at it, but after really trying i became quite adept .Bit overall i think my life would be so much better without math.

Still i find every branch expect trigonometry(i HATE it) to be tolerable.
