Poll Do you have racist family members? (152 votes)
So I'm doing more data collecting, and seeing how you people were like moths to a light in my other thread, I decided to make this one.
And yeah yeah stupid thread and what not.

yeah. Are you trying to sell our information??!?!?!?!?!
No, I wouldn't do that. However I would use it for school work.
Heck one of my polls were used in a speech of mine and I got an A on it.
Everyone is racist or at least racially conscious to some degree, anyone that claims otherwise is probably being untruthful. You would have to be more specific.
No one in my immediate family is racist (or rather would not and does not act on the little innate racial prejudice they could have). Not sure about my extended family.
Well, i don't think this is racist but here in my country (Argentina), we have a term for people who steal, wear turned caps, piercings, and speak an awful spanish: negros villeros (niggers of village) or negros turros (doesn't really have a translation). And by niggers we don't refer to their skin color, i think we refer to their obscure presence, and because they mostly steal at night
Ugh...yes. My father (who is an asshole in general) is. I didn't find out until I was fifteen and I was simply stunned. I didn't even really know how to react to it for about a month I was so repulsed. I knew my great grandfather had been in the KKK but I had figured that was ancient history.
Fortunately my mother was anything but.
With people of color, I guess that would be like people in the New Black Panthers; so, no, I don't have anyone in my family who is a racist person of color. However, most of my family feel more disenfranchised by Caucasians than me; but, where than sheer dislike, it's mostly mistrust and selective knowledge of whites, where it's spark from stories of blacks being disenfranchised by whites. My underage nephews have quickly picked up on this behavior. The same goes for many of my church members, where a lot of them are actually from the 60s and 70s, so, it's partially experience for them. But, in passing, I've certainly come across racists African Americans who have a genuine hatred of whites, but, still, shy of something like the New Black Panthers and it comes from disenfranchisement.
Me, myself, I'm definitely not racists towards whites, as I'm imagining white celebrities in a sexual way (e.g. WWE, wink, wink and Raw Commissioner; I just find her irresistible and those eyes are uniquely beautiful), but, I've become far less trusting and prone to see negative aspects in whites, especially in management positions, given my real life experience with employment discrimination, ongoing litigation, and being blacklisted from a full time job for 10 years; because of this, I have a very strong distaste in my mouth, as it involved trusting, coupled with naivety, and having that trust shattered; and, something similar just happened within just the past three months.

Yeah, that's pretty racist :/
@darkpsychiclord_prime: Calling thugs a racial slur that denotes criminal connotations and darkness is extremely racist. I'm not too knowledgeable about the history of Argentina but that sounds like a Eurocentric influence on your culture from the Transatlantic Slave Trade, similar to Brazil and other South American countries.
My dad doesn't like black people(specifically African-Americans), Italians, and Muslims. He also can't stand women who drive SUVs.
@juiceboks: Well, i guess we have to find another term, but you know, you can't change an entire country :/(altough the term is most likely used in the capital, Buenos Aires, not in the entire country). I really don't call them that way, but luckily we have many insults in our country like chorro (thief)
Not really racist but my parrents dislikes the immigrant policies and the fact they are prioritized for jobs & housing over Swedish citizens in need. And I agree with my parrents on this.
I might be a bit bigotted though because i dislike Islam, same with my father
Let's be honest - we ALL do
Unfortunately.
But you're from Brazil, no?
@modernww2fare: Yeah.
Yes, plenty of them.
It is not the hate brand of racism it is more based on fear.
To this day my mother is convinced that all black women carry knives and are just looking for a chance to cut white women and that all black men are just rapists looking for a chance.
However, she is also a moron who thinks that black people are 45% of the country.
@modernww2fare: Yeah.
Brazilians can't be racist!
@modernww2fare: You'd be surprised...
@misterwhisper: I'm sorry I had to laugh at you calling your mother a moron. LOL. What country do you hail from?
Not racist in the sense that they hate people. But more in the sense that my mom shakes her head and says "white people" in an exasperated tone from time to time.
@misterwhisper: Yeesh, that sounds rough. But not as rough as South Africa ?
@the_stegman: I can just imagine, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt style: What white nonsense is this?
@misterwhisper: Yeesh, that sounds rough. But not as rough as South Africa ?
Here racism is more due to family tradition and stupidity, but it is still illegal and sometimes lands people in court. However it also most of the tine goes nowhere when most of the jury are morons and bigots too... and also do not know what a bigot is.
South Africa from what I hear is more intense racism.
@mfundroid: Lol, basically.
Just this morning she was watching the news and there was a marathon going on.
It's very cold in my city and she just exclaimed, "White people runnin' in the snow again, I swear."
@misterwhisper: Yeah it can get intense at times here. It's a shame 23 years later post-Apartheid we can't get along.
@the_stegman: LOL, man. That's alright, white people tend be very adventurous really.
He also can't stand women who drive SUVs.
Soccer Moms are annoying. No way around that
