I have no reason hating on a music genre I have almost never listened to. The same with other genre of music. There's only a handful of some NGS I like to listen to. I mostly play tracks from my favourite anime and games etc, and a few composures when working or reading. That's the kind of music I listen.
Examples of good Kpop songs are only ones from the 90s and noughties, not the new ones. I can't remember other examples but Psy's music was better in 'Psy from the Psycho World!', his songs like 'Bird' and 'Champion' are good (although Champion's music copies the soundtrack of Beverly Hills Cop). Psy has some other good songs from the past but I can't remember them. As for his newer songs, I thought Gangnam Style looked cringy and I didn't like it at first but now I think the music is ok, it's good, but I still think the dancing is silly...but Psy is known for his messing around. 'Gentleman' and 'Hangover' is just silly, repetitive, bad quality music...it is not Psy's best. It's a shame that most people know Psy only from Gangnam Style and the later songs but I think his best work came very early on in his career like the songs in 'Psy from the Psycho World!'.
Some old school for you kids...
YES...he has really become something wonderful of an artist. Jonghyun was also great (especially his solo stuff)
Taemin is in SuperM, too. He's been in 3 generations of Kpop, but he's still only 27-years-old.
He was mi age...lol It is amazing that he's lasted this long, in a genre as short-sighted as Kpop is...
