Do you consider yourself an Egalitarian?
@undefined: I've thought about it and searched it and I've never seen that second definition of egalitarian philosophy economically speaking.
I do consider myself that
Do you believe in equal rights: Yes
Do you believe in equal opportunity: Yes
Do you support equal outcome: No, equality of outcome is fundamentally wrong
Do you prefer equality or equity: Equality is vastly preferable
@undefined: I do believe in equal rights. No I do t support equal outcome, if I work harder than someone why should we come out at the end as equals(in terms of outcome and distinction).
While I'm not huge on labels I'd say this one fits me pretty well.
I believe in equal rights.
Equal opportunity.
However there's simply no way to dictate or ensure equal outcome, that's dependent on circumstances and individual output.
I believe in equity as much as it is reasonable.
I believe in equal rights and opportunity. I don't believe in equality of outcome, though I do believe in reducing inequality of outcome. Though equality is the overall target, equity is a necessary step in that direction.
Do you believe in equal rights?
No, equal rights is a privilege that you get when you understand the value of your social contract and complying to its requirements
For instance, I don't believe that criminals deserve equal rights comparable to that of law abiding citizens.
Do you believe in equal opportunity?
No, opportunity is something that you created for yourself not something that is handed to you.
People will always have bias and preferences, life is not fair.
If you want to be notice and be promoted, you better haul your ass and beat those obstacles.
Do you support equal outcome?
As a process engineer we always aspire for equal, consistent, and standardized output (minimization of rejects, mis-process, losses, and inefficiency).
I dont know if thats is on the same idea as the question requires though.
Do you prefer equality or equity?
I like to consider myself as practical flexible person.
So case to case basis,
I will prefer any concept and idea over the others when it offers the most practical and logical solution to the problem being considered.
I think valuing every human equally is a bit arbitrary.
Everyone should begin with equal valuation to society (the only meaning of 'worth' I think a human can really have), but people's actions and abilities should influence this valuation; the more you can contribute to society, the better treatment by society you should receive. e.g. a scientist should have greater 'rights' than should a [insert mindless job] who should then receive better 'rights' than a criminal.
Do you believe in equal rights?
Obviously
Do you believe in equal opportunity?
Yes
Do you support equal outcome?
No
Do you prefer equality or equity?
Equity in small amounts is needed but Equality.
Do you believe in equal rights?
-Partially yes, it depends.
I don't support a transgender public toilet, I don't support a replacement for the mother and father role, I support an alternate civil union between homosexuals but not marriage, etc...
Do you believe in equal opportunity?
-Yes
Do you support equal outcome?
-An equal outcome exists among living beings like ants, etc... but this isn't compatible with humanity.
Do you prefer equality or equity?
None of them in its totality.
While I'm not huge on labels I'd say this one fits me pretty well.

I swear this guy always gives the best answers. I don't even know what equity means, and I agree with you.

No such thing as equality and equity is just applied to attempt to hide the fact there is no equality.
Doesn't anyone find it a bit strange that there is basically no equality in nature but humans are somehow all equal??
Do you believe in equal rights?
- Yes
Do you believe in equal opportunity?
- Yes
Do you support equal outcome?
- No
Do you prefer equality or equity?
- Equality
Yes, but I don't like it as a term. Also, I hate feminism too, so... Also, I could consider myself a humanist, which is also a related term. Equalityguous, so believe in equality? No. I can say that label and go down all sorts of garbage. Equity though? Hell no, that is tantamount to whatever levels of equality of outcome as a person is going for.
In general, I support the full power for anyone to do whatever they want, within REASON (like no blowing up a abomb in NYC), and if you end up richer or poorer, do to your circumstances or others, of well. And unless you were actually defrauded in a direct, legitimate sense, in which take it to court, I don't care about that last part especially.
