Nope..... I don't believe in gender roles.

That men and women are equal, but Women and Men are designed differently, and thus have advantages and disadvantages in certain fields. To not at least acknowledge that is fool hardy............

Gender roles will always exist, just think about this when a female sees a spider who does she go running to go kill it? ....The nearest male. I am reminded of this anytime a roach or spider is seen in the vicinity.

I ever see men giving birth or breastfeeding, and women with beards down to their collar bone i'm offin myself. But if they wanna go to work so i can stay home and watch soap opera's thats fine by me :D

Oh, how cute. Sorry to break it to you but goats are like Santa Clause. Lies parents tell their children so they aren't completely terrified of what they are in the petting zoo with. What they really are is young werewolves before they develop a taste for humans. They are completely harmless at that size and age but if the children knew what they really were they would either A) be scared s##tless to go in with them or B) think that they are ok to be around when the werewolves are adults.

no i was goin with the common stereotype that people think all stay at home spouses do is sit around and do nothing, personally i dont actually know any "stay at home" moms, every one i've ever met works.

There's nothing to believe; they exist. And they come in all sorts of tailored flavors depending on the society / social group.

As for if I believe in them - ask yourself do you happily fall in-line most of the time publicly with whatever society deems your gender should be doing or feel compelled to act in accordance to that role? There's a good chance most of us happily follow suit with whatever gender roles provided.

As a chef.... I have no problem cooking for the ladies. To tell you the truth, I enjoy doing it.........

However I don't think they should. And as a trans person has giving me a whole lot of pain and trouble in my life.

I think gender roles will always exist....but one doesn't necessarily have to follow.

No not really. Sure, one task may be better suited to a gender because of the way our brains/bodies work, but both can still perform the same task albeit with various degrees of effort.

Do I believe in them? Yes to some extent. They've been a staple for a "healthy" household for centuries. From the Cult of Domesticity to Barbara Billingsley and now to women empowerment. I myself find cooking for women a lot more rewarding than the other way around.

I believe that people should be able to do whatever they want, even if it's something that society has deemed to be for the opposite gender.

No, screw gender roles. People shouldn't be shoehorned into positions they don't want. Let them choose what they want to do.

No.

But roles should not be taken by women if they are a liability, for example joining the police and lowering the fitness standard ( as they have done in the UK ) to let women join. It sexist but it saves lives.
